...in fact, that he is just an imaginary imagery of our biggest fears?

(Acts 7:55-56) But he, being full of holy spirit, gazed into heaven and caught sight of God’s glory and of Jesus standing at God’s right hand, and he said: “Look! I behold the heavens opened up and the Son of man standing at God’s right hand.”

So where is God the Holy Spirit?

Revelation 1:1-3
A revelation by Jesus Christ, which God gave him, to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place. And he sent forth his angel and presented [it] in signs through him to his slave John,  who bore witness to the word God gave and to the witness Jesus Christ gave, even to all the things he saw.

God gave? But Jesus is God.
Who bore a witness to the word God gave? and Jesus Christ gave? How can Jesus Christ who is God give a revelation to someone called Jesus Christ?

(Colossians 1:14-15)  He [Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation

Jesus is a creation

Since he's omnipotent, he should be able to do all three of them at the same time. Tell me why he does not do that and instead allows suffering when he doesn't have to?

Obviously you can't prove a negative, but let's try.

What proof is there that Odin isn't any more valid a god as Yahweh?

When I think of "crusade" I think of the Latin Church attacking Muslims, Jews, Cathars (no big problem there), the Greek Church and eventually Protestants.

If someone calls themself any type of a crusader, isn't that indicative of violence, intolerance, and hate? I almost think the word "crusader" should be considered hate speech.

Opinions? Or am I totally out of it here...

and inheriting your father's sins?

My understanding is that having your father's iniquities visited upon you simply means having to live with the consequences of your father's actions, such as having a father that is a drunkard means having to deal with the issues that arise from your father's drunkenness. That may mean a poor lifestyle, constant bickering in your father's house, being labled the child of a drunkard, etc. But that does not mean that you inherit his drunkard ways, or will become a drunkard yourself.

From my understanding, you can't inherit sins, you can only make your own. You may have exemplary examples of "sinfulness" in your life, but only you can commit the sins you are accountable for. Therefore, there could be no such thing as "original sin" being transmitted to children. That would explain why Jews don't believe in original sin. Christianity says otherwise. Can someone explain how it is possible to inherit sin. Not a tendency to sin, but sin itself.

What are druid rituals? I saw the movie Sarah Landon and the Paranormal Hour, and this guy named David did this druid ritual with skull-shaped turnips with candles in them. Kind of like mini jack-o-lanterns. But David found out that he was going to be killed on his 21st b-day. so a lady called him and said for him to do the ritual, and he loooked it up in a book, and saw that you had to carve fifty turnips into the shape of a skull with little tea candles in them. and for the person to be safe from a spirit, to sit in the circle of fifty turnips, and they were to wear a mask to confuse the spirit. But i am confused saying as many other druid rituals may be different from the one i am talking about. But do they actually work?

We ask for a collective belief and agreement among all Christians and cannot get one.
Explanation of the trinity. Many different Christians have a variety of beliefs on the trinity.
Cannot seem to get a full agreement on the flood, creation, the description of hell, the validity of speaking in tongues, the prophecies of tribulation, the rapture, and many more things.

Christians, if you cannot agree among yourselves on your own bible and religious beliefs, why do you expect anyone else to buy into it?

Which beliefs are we supposed to pick? Why these over others?

It all seems to come down to what sounds best to me personally. I guess I'm just supposed to grab a bible and cherry-pick which beliefs I want for me. If I am supposed to pray and let your god guide me to the truth, what about all the other Christians who have done the same and have been guided to differing truths?

...would you please keep me and my city in your thoughts and prayers? I live in San Diego, CA and if you've been watching the national news you know that there are mutiple wild fires surrounding the county. As I walked outside at about 7:00 this morning I could smell the smoke and realized the skies had/have been polluted with it as well. Numerous schools and businesses have been closed for the day, my store/office included. My town hasn't been given evacuation orders yet as the fires are further East. However, there are Santa Anna winds that are making it extremely difficult for fire fighters to contain the fires. Futhermore, the winds have carried the fires into other areas in San Diego. Basically I'm just asking for you to keep me and other residents of San Diego in your thoughts and prayers. I have the news on and am just waiting to see if I need to pack up and leave. I pray it doesn't come to that, but you never know. Thanks everyone!

How can we overcome the hurt and open our hearts again after we have been deceived? How long does it take to heal?
We may justify our wounds, sit in the corner and lick them, but when do we emerge again and let someone else in? Does this take a leap of faith?
Can we trust others?

Prominent creation scientist Em Adjineri has recently developed a faith-based alternative to Einstein's Theory of General Relativity. Her alternative is called the Law of Intelligent Space-Time (or IST).

Since a theory can be wrong and a law has to be right, the Law of IST is better than the Theory of General Relativity.

General relativity says that space-time curves around massive bodies, thereby deflecting the vectors of any close bodies with mass from the temporal dimension into the spatial dimensions. This is supposedly what causes acceleration due to gravity.

But there is one flaw in General Relativity: how does space-time know how much it's supposed to curve? The only possible way is if it was intelligently designed with free will. The space-time uses its free will to curve around massive bodies because the will of space-time is in accordance with the will of God.

Since General Relativity is just a theory and IS is a law, IS is better and should be taught in schools.

Try imagine the report button as a gun. In this case you, by using it, is shooting at people and often with a virtual death as the result.

The behavior of killing is here in R&S and is quite noticable. Tons of shots are fired per minute.

How do the "report-people" feel about having killing behaviour?

(Remember - I'm talking about the behaviour of killing - not virtual death. I note this because some people have trouble staying on the actual topic of the question - which is "How do you feel about having killing behaviour?")

As a Congregationalist, Obama belongs to one of the only decent branches of Christianity in the entire world. For example, they openly embrace gays and give them no hateful rhetoric. However, now Obama is touring the South and catering to those who think it would be fine to stone certain groups of people to death.
Barack, if you are actually about Jesus, which has next to nothing to do with Christianity, then you will be proud to have evangelicals as your enemy, as they are the enemy to all decent forms of mankind.

SOME (not all) Christians seem to like to say things such as
"You're going to burn in hell" and other nice lines.
I was under some odd impression that Christians are supposed to :
love thy neighbor
not pass judgement
turn the other cheek
etc etc etc

So I ask you, do YOU practice what you preach?
