Yes I do. Even though the Bible does say that unsaved ones will not go to Heaven, it also says that we should not pass judgement. It is not my place to pass judgement on another person for being unsaved. Only God can do so. I admit that depending on what it is, I can't turn the other cheek.

Training: If I do not do it, I cannot recommend it. I will only tell someone to try something that I know works. Now with training, the opposite applies for me here. There are things I do I would never tell someone else to do sight - unseen. I learned early on that people take some things way too far if they work, I use all five senses in training and I use positive reinforcement with play. It is very hard to convince people that their dog does not really know his name, but he does understand the sound. So I gave up on that some time back. A few will get this one, and a lot will not. If one of my dogs start to do something they should not, I clap my hands twice. They stop in their tracks. I have never needed a clicker, the hand clap works fine. Spay/Neuter: The appointment is made before the dog is old enough and marked on the calendar. Since I do rescue, there is only one situation where I do not. There are times when legal action is necessary and we cannot alter until it is settled. However, I usually have the appointment made for court day...leave the magistrate's office or the court and head for the vet. I DO NOT and WILL NEVER breed. I admire and respect responsible breeders. My dedication lies elsewhere but I really enjoy a good dog show. Food: I do not do a lot of recommendations on food. I will say what is NOT good for a dog. Other than that, so long as the dog is not pigging out on treats and ice cream, I do not say a lot there. I have tried a lot of diets with various dogs and a lot depends on the dog. What is good for one does not always work for another. But, if it is a bad diet, it is bad period.I have also learned not to make a suggestion for treats too often since people tend to think treat means extra meal.

Sometimes, but I try not to preach, and I own up when I fall down. I'm definitely not a holier-than-thou type. My immediate goal is to lose all vestiges of resentments and grudges. I would preach this as a good thing, but it is not a state that you can reach--it is a constant process. Many preach as much to keep themselves on track as to admonish others. Some preach in a misguided attempt to save others from the pain they themselves have experienced by choosing a certain path. I've found this is pointless most of the time. Most people don't listen anyway, and I didn't listen to others who tried it with me. The best we can do is to do no harm, just as the Hippocratic Oath begins. Those who preach but blatantly don't practice end up sending a very bad message. So, since I know I'm not perfect, I try not to preach.

I never tell anyone ever that they are going to burn in hell. I don't believe in an eternal pit of fire. I never use fear of death to try to lead someone to Christ but always use Christ's love an sacrifice. Do I practice what I preach? well most of the time but I have my moments when I would say that I don't act the way a Christian should, but being a follower of Christ is a growing process no one can expect to do everything perfectly all of the time that takes many years of refining. I have only been a Christian for about 3 years so I have a ways to go yet before my character is complete.

I try to preach what I myself need to hear!
You are correct in saying that Christians ought not to preach that. The Gospel message is abandoned by those who are poorly taught.
"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ" sounds nothing like " You are going to burn in Hell".
Satan's message has infiltrated in the Earth. The hateful heart is flourishing in the ranks of the 'Moralists'. God knows we are not moral, that's why we need His grace. So those Christians who are read here who abandon love are of the same heart as the Pharisees of Jesus' time.

I'm not christian, but I always try to practice what I preach. Sometimes I more successful than others. Its always easier to tell someone to do the right thing, instead of actually doing it.

I don't preach to anyone. But I do mean what I say and say what I mean. I also believe I live a pretty moral existence.

I do my best. I, also, try very hard not to judge others in ways that I have not worked on improving myself.
ADD: We are all hypocritical to a point; it protects our ego.
We all stereotype. It is how we survive in a big city full of strangers.
I work hard to keep hypocrisy from ruling my life and to keep stereotyping from turning into prejudice.
