a bunch of their people who didn't particularly like blue started wearing red, but they called it "the reformed blue," because they wanted the benefits of organized religion w/o all the corny "love and stuff," do you think you'd be wise in pointing out the perversion and non-sensical nature of the "redamentalists"?

And if that riled up some of the "redamentalists", do you think that was a good sign that you were speaking the truth?

What caught your interest so to speak?
Mine is odd. I read something about a funeral right for the Vikings and felt this overwhelming need to find out more. Over time, and reading the answers of several of the Heathens here, I was told by a friend that Blood Calls. I haven't looked back.

I remember reading this myth when i was a kid, and till this moment it's my favorite, does someone care to share theirs?

It was a scientist, and in his lab he dedicated his time to create worlds, he poured emotions into a cauldron and with the liquid he made bubbles, each created of a single emotion, greed, generosity, love, hate, joy, pain, etc. One day some kids entered his lab, and pured all the emotions into the cauldron and made a bubble, when the scientist came back he got very angry, the children got scared and ran away. The scientist found the bubble the children had made and laughed at the contradictory nature of it, but decided to leave the bubble alone cause it would burst by itself anyway, but with time all the other bubbles the scientist made bursted, and just the bubble the kids made remains, it is the earth.

Btw where the heck does this come form?

Please, only Pagans answer this one! I'm interested in each individual's thoughts, not brush stroke generalizations.

are you willing to give up some logical convictions, in order to obtain faith?

Personally, I think the idea of an infinitely powerful protector is wonderful, but i'm not willing to give up logic in order to believe in it.

If you are willing to do the 2nd, i will give you this...

Six Easy Steps

1. First, you must want to believe in God (the first requirement).
2. Next, understand that believing in God in the absence of evidence is especially noble.
3. Then, realize that the human ability to believe in God in the absence of evidence might itself constitute evidence for the existence of God.
4. Now consider any need for further evidence (both in yourself and in others) to be a form of temptation, spiritually unhealthy, or a corruption of the intellect.
5. Refer to steps 2-4 as acts of “faith.”
6. Return to 2.

also, why didn't many Christians answer my last question?

Forcing your opinon and beliefs on people as vulnerable as children is surely one of the most underhanded and despicable things you can do.

Shouldn't it be covered in the child protection laws?
