...then can I go back and get a refund and use the money towards the purchase of a better life? Or can I not exchange and only get "heaven" credit?

Well, part of my asking is because the life I have been given came with some unwanted baggage, namely diabetes, a chronic condition which will most likely shorten my life span and reduce my ability as I get older to perform good works. I don't recall making this choice prior to emerging on the "life" scene... heck, I don't remember being given a choice!
No matter, I mean I have a happy life currently, and your prayers while not necessary IMHO are nonetheless appreciated, if they benefit me I will certainly be grateful regardless.

God did give you life, you can't go back and get a refund~LOL! However you can get a better life for free by making better decisions in life and by getting to know God, because you could actually exchange the life you have now to live in God's Kingdom if you wanted it, Again, it is your choice!
Regardless of your beliefs, or lack thereof, you have a nice day, this was good.

Dear,
Earth is transit to eternity.
On earth the day you're born until mature age of 12 years. From there everything will counted for until the day you die.
In eternity, You'll be Judge by The Master of the Day of Judgment by God Allah Sub-ha-nahu Wa-ta'a-la.
If you're a Muslim, you'll be Judge. If not, you'll straight away to Hell.
As a Muslim, I'll be Judge by My God. The result being known immediately after the Judgement. There a bridge to walk across. The bride known as Siro-tul-Mustakin.
There's no such thing as exchange and buy a better life. That's what I know in Islam.
After Judgment and walking across the bridge, then you go either to Heaven or Hell.

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, you will get a better life and you do not have to buy it. Jesus purchased it for you with His death on the cross. When we accept Jesus, God's Word says that "the old has gone, the new has come"
The problem is that people think that their problems will all of a sudden disappear. That is not true. God did not promise a life without problems. All through out the bible we see people that had real problems. But, what God does promise is that He will be with us and we will be able to draw strength from Him. He will give us the comfort and peace we need to get through our days.
God is in Ultimate Control and that is what we need to remember when we are going through our daily lives. All of the things that we struggle with daily are only worldly problems.
God's Word tells us that "soon this world will fade away"
Also, " set your sights on things above and not on things below, this world is only temporary, what is above is permanent."

You are asking for a refund for the 'quality' of your current life, which is no fault of God's. Your decisions have resulted in the quality of your life to-date.
God gave you life in that you are a living, breathing, functioning human being.
What you do with the life God gave you is up to you, but, you know what, God also promised to help you every step of the way to have an abundant, peaceful, joyful life.
Guess how.

From your own words, your life was "given". You didn't purchased it thus you're not entitled for a refund. Sorry, you came into this world with nothing and you'll leave with nothing.
