i believe this is true. For instance my neighbors across the street were like my grandparents. The husband past away 2 years ago leaving his wife. Then 6 months ago his wife had said, "as you know I'm agnostic but for the past few days when i get up in the morning and look out the window in the front yard i see something over by the wall" That is where her husband had always stood as he watered his lawn everyday. We told her it was probably Gordan. But that was it of the conversation. Then 2 weeks later after she had told us this our other neighbor that lived next door to her came over to tell us that she had passed away in her sleep during the night. My mom had visited her the day before and she seemed fine but said she was a little dizzy. But she was deaf in one ear and had high blood pressure. She even held my niece on her last day on earth. So i truly believe that loved ones do come to get us when we are ready to leave.

Another story i have. My grandfather 10 years ago had lung cancer and about 3 days before he died he had mentioned he saw my deceased grandmother, his wife standing at the end of his bed. My grandfather died in our house.

I would like to believe that is so.
Surely you have heard of all the thousands of people who have clinically died on the Operating table and saw themselves going toward a bright light where there were people they recognised, and sometime Jesus or a holy figure welcoming them. The scientific view is that it is a quirk in the brain that causes this feeling, but that doesn't explain that sometimes the person on the table sees themselves in spirit form looking down and the table, going through walls, hearing conversations they couldn't have possibly heard otherwise, and the great peace they experience afterwards. I personally have felt the presence of my dead mother at a family gathering.
You might want to watch the new TV show
"Phychic Challenge" to see if the dead speak to us.
http://www.lifetimetv.com/on-tv/shows/america-039-s-psychic-challenge/episodes/round-2 Or you can watch "Ghost Hunter" to see if people hang arround after death. Ghost Hunter " TAPs" is getting quite a rep for being honest and scientific about searches for spirits.

As to you people who think I am being fooled, well I used to be a magician and as magician I am not easily fooled.

I don't know, but my grandmother had an experience right before she was about to die. She suffered horribly from cancer. The attending hospice nurses told my family she could die at any time. My brother died last year, at 21. When she was laying in the bed just silently staring, (she could barely talk at this point), she raised up her hand toward something that noone else could see and she started to call my brothers name like she could see him and then she looked the other direction and started calling Momma? like she had just seen her own mother.
I believe with all of my heart that she saw my brother and my great-grandmother and so does everyone else in my family.
What more can I say?

I'd love to be reunited with my love ones when I die, but I have no reason to believe in that or in any sort of afterlife. Wanting or wishing for something to be true is not enough to convince me that it is true.

No, not till revelation when Jesus will return to earth and take us to heaven.

Revelations 22:7-21
7 "Look, I am coming soon! Blessed are those who obey the words of prophecy written in this book.*"

8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw all these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me.
9 But he said, "No, don't worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers the prophets, as well as all who obey what is written in this book. Worship only God!"
10 Then he instructed me, "Do not seal up the prophetic words in this book, for the time is near.
11 Let the one who is doing harm continue to do harm; let the one who is vile continue to be vile; let the one who is righteous continue to live righteously; let the one who is holy continue to be holy."

12 "Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds.
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

14 Blessed are those who wash their robes. They will be permitted to enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life.
15 Outside the city are the dogs—the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie.

16 "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this message for the churches. I am both the source of David and the heir to his throne.* I am the bright morning star."

17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come." Let anyone who hears this say, "Come." Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life.
18 And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book.
19 And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person's share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.
20 He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon!"
Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
21 May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's holy people.*

Again, first of all you would have to beleive that we are all seperate ... and you would have to believe that you will die.

Your soul is immortal - it is only in the earthly image - the vehicle we are currently using to experience this part of our journey- that we die... your soul just moves on to another experience in the journey to reconnect with God...it's like changing cars. When we pass, I think we invoke images of peace that allow us to peacefully move on to the next journey... If loved ones bring you peace, then you will see that... if fields of flowers bring you peace, then you will see that.

I prefer to beleive that we are reuintied with loved ones that have passed on in each of our lives...

I don't know. But right before my Grandma died, her eyes got kind of glisteny and she said "There they are" and pointed to the corner of the room. She said it was Ed (her husband) and Julie (her granddaughter who died at 2 years old). Then she passed away.

God rest her soul.

that's no longer a count of theory. plenty and lots of individuals have this adventure, as you curiously did too. i do no longer think of you imagined having that dream, i think of you particularly did have that dream. Your mom could have died, yet your relationship together with her continues to be a ingredient of you.

I believe that as we are all one family of God our loved one`s go no further from us than God and He is very near to us.
I also think that we will be greeted by our family members who have gone to be with God and it is reasonable to believe this because God is all about love and union.
God bless.
