Would a perfect being, like Adam or Eve... use their free will to choose evil?

Why would a perfect being choose to do evil, wouldn't that be something an imperfect being would do?

For example. You will burn forever in a hell fire.

Sheol and Hades mean the grave.
Hell is only the grave.

Job prayed to go there remember?

Jesus went to hell for three days remember?

(Sorry, I have no idea what you guys call it --- I don't mean that in a mocking way --- I just mean the highest heaven in your theology).

I realize that you guys don't believe in hell, which I confess I think is odd considering how much the Bible talks about it, but since you don't, assume I know that you won't say that anyone went to hell, please. :)

Anyway, did everyone go to the lower heaven levels --- is it only now that y'all have the Mormon church that people get to go to their own planets?

Thanks!

I was just wondering, when we say the Nicene Creed in church...which churches exactly are included when we say "we believe in one holy Catholic and Apostolic church?" Thanks in advance :)

They just tell me I don't know what I'm talking about, but they never clarify it. They never explain which parts are wrong and which are right.

Do you think God has a father?
Do you think his father is stronger than he?
Do you think gods can have more than one child?
Do you think gods have free will?
Do you think you can become a god?
Do you think that if a god is stronger than his nephew and turns evil, that he could influence his nephew to do evil?

If you don't, then tell me which of these are wrong and in what way? What is the actual belief that I am slightly off on?

...and also when you are addressing them in a letter? Please don't ask why I don't know this, but I don't and very embarrassed by that. Is it "Shri", should you find out their name and use it as well? Does it change depending on if they are a priest of Shiva, Mataji, or Vishnu? Thank ou for answering this.

They say thinks like "watch what you say" about the Catholic church. But if what I say falls in line with the word of God, how can they call me a heritic? Anyone who believes in the word of God, can not also believe in the word of the catholics doctrine, since the two say different things.

Is anyone scared when this man-made religion says things like "If you do not join our Church, you will go to hell?".

I wish they were that direct, but instead they dance around with their different doctrines.

I am not scared of the men in the Catholic Religion, I only fear God.

Or could Satan compete with God and make Hell better than Heaven?

God literally wrote the 10 commandments not once but twice. Where are those by the way? Anyway, so then he decided the bible should not be written by him, just inspired by him, right? Makes it pretty tough to believe when we know how prone man is to creating lies and manipulating everything to get his own way. Just take a look at the Christian faith itself. How many variants are there now? Each one decided that following some of the rules didn't work for them so they split off to become a different branch of the same faith. Isn't it amazing that the proof of Gods existence is not available to man? He really did decide to take the hands off approach didn't he? When he checks out there is not getting through, huh? No voice mail, no email, no forwarding address. Man that deity is a tough one to track down.

How did you first make contact with the LDS church?
What was your religion/belief prior to joining this church?
Do you feel that you have a better understanding of the savior, and a better relationship with the savior after joining?
Have you read the entire book of mormom and if so, how does it compare with the bible? Does it contrast, or compliment?
Do you think that your life is happier after joining?
Are you persecuted for what you belief? If so, by whom?
What is the church like where you live--is there a great membership, or a sparse one?
What is the major difference between LDS church and your prior religion?
Have you ever considered leaving the church?

Non-LDS, you can answer, too. Please don't be nasty, though. I hate that.

ANd please don't post a whole bunch of links that I am not going to open

The main argument given up for the cluster of contradictions (the old testament), is that once JC walked onto the scene, that the old testament was negated. If this is the case, doesn't that wipe out half of the Christian beliefs?

Since you've told me that higher gods are more powerful than lower gods, and because Gods can have multiple sons.

Is it only because they say Jesus and God aren't the same being? I can't put my mind around that either. Is this the only reason? Do the JW think Jesus is God's son and the savior/christ?
Thanks.

Moses who saw a bush that was burning, but was not consumed and the bush told him to take off his shoes and to go to Egypt and take 600,000 people from the lands, lead them into the desert, etc.

Noah, who was told of a great flood that would destroy everything, to gather 2 of every animal and to store lots of grain on the ship.

Abraham, who was very close to killing his own son because God told him to...

I'm a Christian, I was raised a Christian and I would say I have a strong relationship with God, but I am going through a very hard time right now, I'm miserable and it seems like god refuses to answer my prayers. My dad was Christian and we had hundreds of people praying for him yet he died a very painful death at young age. Why do my prayers go unheard?
