We were given a conscience, reasoning and the ability to choose right from wrong and the ability to know which was which. Man does evil, not because some supernatural being tells us to or leads us to but because we WANT to. The Creator will not interfere because that was the gift given to man. Good luck getting others to see this! I am sure they will say I am an Atheist which I am not.

deep thoughts on a Thursday...isn't that considered a sin also? You should only be thinking of tomorrow and what it brings...which would hopefully be a Budlight, or possibly a Gin & Tonic if it is warmer.....

or how about some cookies and milk? that actually sounds really good right now, excuse me for a few........

We sin because we have the nature to sin. Saved or not!

But what the Christian has is the Holy Spirit, and He provides a counter to sin. By leaning in faith to the Spirit of God, we begin to do things according to His plan, not ours.

So our focus is not to stop sinning, but to trust God more. Every day, greater and greater faith. I tell myself what I've been taught, " Yesterday's faith will not get me through today. "

And so by continually trusting in God, I become more like Him. And that's what happens in the life brought to me in Christ.

For many biblical reasons. But one very evident one is that our pride often makes us choose with our own interests in mind. This inevitably makes us sin against others and God.
