PLEASE tell me this is some kind of joke!
I just read not one but TWO answers from people claiming that there are "real digs" showing footprints of dinos and humans together....
Are you people really this gullible? NOT ONE of these has ever proven to be legit.
Most of them are pure fabrication. Look at the Paluxy prints. Funny how the guy who "found" them claimed they were real yet when credible scientists wanted to examine them, they were moved and the guy won't allow them to be seen. Well, it's nice to know that he acknowledges the fact that a real scientist would recognize them as the fakes they are anyway.
At least that shows he can be a honest with himself if no one else.
And these lies and frauds do nothing to help your cause by the way....
But really, are there still people this thoroughly deluded?

That is, is it impossible to “fall away” from atheism? Do you really “believe” this?

…and I am NOT joking.

It NEVER ceases to amaze me that when I publicly share my testimony, there are a good number of atheists that have the audacity to claim that I never was a “true” atheist!

Immersed in a science major in college, I DID become an atheist. I was “MORE” of an atheist than others, IF that was even possible! I even sat down to read the Bible and prove it wrong in order to “save” Christian’s from their fears, myths, delusions, and cults. I KNEW there was no God, KNEW that I was right, and KNEW that all theists were wrong. I didn’t “think” it, I didn’t “believe” it, I KNEW IT.

And then, ironies or ironies, Jesus revealed Himself to me, personally.

I mean, he sacrificed everything for mankind. What other gods would do such things? He's the only to ever do that, I'm sure.

This passage was in my daily study today and wanted to share it-- does anyone want to share on this? You may look to the beginning of the chapter too...
Moses Returns to Egypt
18 Then Moses went back to Jethro his father-in-law and said to him, "Let me go back to my own people in Egypt to see if any of them are still alive."
Jethro said, "Go, and I wish you well."
19 Now the LORD had said to Moses in Midian, "Go back to Egypt, for all the men who wanted to kill you are dead." 20 So Moses took his wife and sons, put them on a donkey and started back to Egypt. And he took the staff of God in his hand.

21 The LORD said to Moses, "When you return to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders I have given you the power to do. But I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go. 22 Then say to Pharaoh, 'This is what the LORD says: Israel is my firstborn son, 23 and I told you, "Let my son go, so he may worship me." But you refused to let him

Basically I noticed that 1. it's NOT just moderate muslims who are foaming at the mouth and talking death and destruction. (From a wife and mother, no less! Wearing a burka, that shows she's free, hey?)

And 2. No other religion shows this kind of craziness over a percieved insult. When this guy showed Jesus as a pedophile, did anyone threaten his life? No. I'm thinking if he showed Rama or Krishna, nobody would care either.

What's your frank opinion?

The above question is almost a direct quote from a regular here. I have seen this argument more than once in R&S.

Does this argument work? Why or why not?

Can you think of other reasons why the world might attack Christianity?

I would ask Satan over seems like he's been mispresented and I heard he's a cool guy. I would also ask Eve due to everyone (male) blames her for the downfall of man. Finally Mohamad to see how he looks like.

The country of Norway was rated as the most peaceful country in the world in a 2007 survey by Global Peace Index. [9] A 2005 Gallup Poll found that 72% of the people of Norway are Atheist or Agnostic, and only 10% of the people of Norway are Christians. Why do we Americans seem to think that we need a magic deity to give us morals?

First of all, let it be fully understood that I do not work for or endorse any type of pharmaceutical company, or the use of any prescription drug. Ha ha, disclaimer out of the way.

That said, have any of you seen commercials for the nasal spray Veramyst? The fine print on their ad, and even on their website, is as follows: ". . . the way Veramyst works is not fully understood." Seems like GlaxoSmithKline is reaching for non-profit status, as it takes "faith" to use their product. Does this "religion" strike terror into the heart of all Pastafarians?

Feel free to answer this question as you see fit (well, duh), seeing as I also am coming at it from a 50-50 serious-humorous split.

Have a great day!

Any time i've had any substantial debate with a Chrsitian it's always ended with "you just have to have faith." The word "faith" implies uncertainty... It states that one has given up on empiricism and rational reasons to believe something is true and is simply believing it because they believe it's true. You can use the same rationale to believe that unicorns, leprechauns, and the Easter Bunny are real... you just have to have faith, believe to believe.

So how are you so certain that your faith is true that you are willing to sacrifice the nation to it's whims? You are so right that everyone must pray the way you do, and live the way you do... just because you have given up on reason and decided to believe whatever you want to believe?
