I mean, he sacrificed everything for mankind. What other gods would do such things? He's the only to ever do that, I'm sure.

Titans were the "old" gods, if we're talking historically. Even the Norse turned their "old" gods into giants. Don't get lost in minutia.

I hear eating too much liver, raises your iron, which makes you more succeptable to colds. I'd imagine that bird got a lot of sniffles, and had to find something to expand it's diet every now and then.

Yes they were Titans, they did not refer to themselves as gods though, only their kids did like Zeus who killed his Titan father Kronos.

Nice son huh!! lol

Any ways cool and Prometheus isnt that kind of a kenundrum? Id say hes the most steaming, hottest or whatever but coolest is the opposite of the fire he gave humanity so thats why I say it lol.

BUT yes he was cool for breaking the rules and giving mandking fire. Not many Titans, Gods or what ever would sacrafice themselves for humanity only a few, you have to consider most preferred to have sacrafices made to them instead!!

I do like Prometheus though & Atlas too!

I like Dionysus, God of Wine and Merriment. No sacrifices needed. I do understand your question as showing the fallacy of the christian belief that only Jesus ever sacrificed himself when ancient religions are full of sacrifice and Resurrection.

For sure. I'm sure glad for the fire! But it must've suck for him to have his ever-regenerating liver eaten by an eagle forever until Hercules came along.

According to some the snake in Eden was a deity and made a similar sacrifice.

Prometheus was a Titan, not a god.
