Just another Christian Cult, like all the rest.

As to being Christian, the only opinions that counts are Jehovah's and Jesus's. Do they consider us Christian?

Anyone can say they are Christian, that doesn't make them so.

Do they live their lives according to the bible? (Matt 7: 17)
Do they have high moral standards? (1 Cor 6:9-11)
Do they have love among themselves? (John 13:35)
Are their teaching from the bible? (Matt 15: 6-9)
Do they preach the good news about the kingdom? (Matt 24:14)

I truly believe that Jehovah and Jesus would both answer "yes" to all these questions with regards to Jehovah's Witnesses.

Jehovah's Witnesses do use surely the comparable Bible as Christians, yet they interpret it very in any different case. For one component, they do no longer have faith interior the Trinity. they have faith that Jesus is an incarnation of the archangel Michael and that "holy spirit" is basically some unintelligent divine tension. they have faith that the basically ideal destiny of maximum dedicated believers is a appropriate life on a paradise Earth, ruled over by potential of God and a crack team of one hundred forty four,000 JW leaders in heaven. there is not any hell. The souls of non-believers will basically be annihilated. JWs have a definite "translation" of the Bible that ameliorations some words right here and there to make it much less complicated to follow their own interpretations. they are in a position to apply different variations yet they're greater soft with the "New international Translation". one component you would be conscious is the substitution of the term "torture stake" for "circulate". it form of feels to be a huge deal for them.

Yes. Because the definition of Christian is a follower of Christ. One who practices the form of worship established by Jesus Christ when he was on earth. The Bible says that it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.(Acts 11:26) The reason for this is that they were doing what Christ did and obeying the command that he laid upon them before his death and resurrection to preach and teach the good news of God's kingdom. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Yes, What It Means to Be a Christian. Those who are true Christians have full faith that Jesus Christ is God’s specially Anointed One and only-begotten Son, the Promised Seed who sacrificed his human life as a ransom, was resurrected and exalted to the right hand of Jehovah, and received authority to subdue his enemies and vindicate Jehovah’s name. (Matthew 20:28; Luke 24:46; John 3:16; Gal. 3:16; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebr. 10:12, 13.) Christians view the Bible as the inspired Word of God, absolute truth, beneficial for teaching and disciplining mankind.—John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21.

More is required of true Christians than a mere confession of faith. It is necessary that belief be demonstrated by works. (Romans 10:10; James 2:17, 26.)

Christians are to be kind and considerate, mild-tempered and long-suffering, lovingly exercising self-control. (Gal. 5:22, 23; Col. 3:12-14) They provide and care for their own and love their neighbors as themselves. (1 Timothy 5:8; Gal. 6:10; Matthew 22:36-40; Romans 13:8-10.) The main identifying quality by which true Christians are recognized is the outstanding love they have toward one another. “By this,” Jesus said, “all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.”—John 13:34, 35; 15:12, 13.

True Christians imitate Jesus’ example as the Great Teacher and Faithful Witness of Jehovah. (John 18:37; Revelation 1:5; 3:14) “Go . . . make disciples of people of all the nations” is their Leader’s command. (Matthew 28:19, 20) In carrying it out, Christians ‘witness publicly and from house to house,’ urging people everywhere to flee out of Babylon the Great and put their hope and confidence in God’s Kingdom. (Acts 5:42; 20:20, 21; Revelation 18:2-4) Christians render to “Caesar” what belongs to the superior authorities of this world—honor, respect, tax. (Matthew 22:21; John 17:16; Romans 13:1-7).—John 15:19; 18:36; 1 Peter 4:3, 4; James 4:4; 1 John 2:15-17.

WHEN you repeat the Lord’s Prayer you utter the words, “Let your kingdom come.” (Matt. 6:10) What does that kingdom mean to you? What part does it play in your life? Why did Jesus instruct us to pray for this kingdom even before asking for our daily bread, forgiveness or deliverance from temptation?

The kingdom of God is referred to so frequently in the Scriptures that it is obviously the theme or central doctrine of the entire Bible. The fact that Jesus urged us to pray continually for it shows its importance in Jehovah's purposes. In the book of Matthew alone the Kingdom is mentioned more than fifty times! But in connection with what? John the Baptist makes mention of it in these words: “Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.” (Matt. 3:2) When Jesus sent out his disciples he commanded: “As you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.’” (Matt. 10:7) This was to be no earthly kingdom, but one that would rule from the invisible heavens over the earth and humans on it.

Who would be the king? Luke 1:31, 33 states: “You are to call his name Jesus . . . and he will be king . . . and there will be no end of his kingdom.” Enthroned in heavenly glory, the King Jesus Christ will destroy this wicked world and all who love it. With wickedness gone, God “will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more.” (Rev. 21:4) Isaiah 9:7 adds: “To the abundance of the princely rule and to peace there will be no end.”
