That God knows more about what's in people's hearts that we do... he knows more about us than we know about ourselves. And He also knows if someone is in the church for their own glory or gain, or if they really are serving Him. A lot of people who are living very well off the Gospel may be in for a surprise. The Lord does work through these people, but to benefit others, not them! The self-servers are not really doing their "ministry" to do God's will but to make bucks or to have power and be important.
But God knows that, and he also recognises those who truly are trying to do His will and live His way. And he knows the difference.

I don't think anything of what Jesus supposedly said. If I want to know what God wants, I'll look in the Torah and see what God says, instead of to a false messiah named Jesus who created a movement that has brought nothing but destruction, murder, war, forced conversions, the raping of indigenous cultures, peoples, and the planet for 2000 years. The exact opposite of what the real Messiah is to bring.
Yes, indeed, as another answerer said "you can tell the tree by its fruit".

if you say you love yourself but go against what you feel is right then you are not loving and being true to yourself and you cant be happy , so you have to be true and love yourself(how you enter heaven) to be happy (heaven)

He knew his words and teachings would be corrupted by men as soon as he left this earth. The apostles who were actually with him, knew him, and heard him would be the only source of them. He wanted people to keep his words and protect them from corruption.
John 14:23:
"Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him."
He wanted people to make an effort to seek his actual words and then use their minds and think. Just as he says in Mark 12:29-30:
"And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment."
He was warned people not to simply have blind faith and believe everything they hear preached about him from other people. He told them to worship and do the will of God (i.e. the Father) alone... but keep his (Jesus) words.
So, in context Matthew 7:15-23 reads:
"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
One could be saved by "faith and works" by keeping his words and trying to the best of their ability to follow them, and worshiping God alone. Just as his prayer to God in John 17:3 says:
"And this is life eternal, that they might know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent."
