Since mountains of medical scientific evidence proves that consciousness, memory, desire, anger, jealousy, love, etc are functions of the brain, how could a god possess those traits without having a brain?

Christians should not indulge in sex before marriage. That being the case is masturbation wrong? I'm not talking mutual masturbation, just me alone in my closet without wicked thoughts.

unexpectanty and I want to share it. In this real dream more real than life, I found myslef in the first part of Heaven and saw very green grass and hills and it was perfect, I was only given a glimplse and the next part of Heaven was where all the mansions were and it was perfect unlike anything I have ever seen and the next part of Heaven was a being sitting on a throne that was so bright I did not see his face, I asume that was God, and people were worshiping him. Thenb I saw Jesus walk down the huge stairs with a white robe on smilling and he had a neatly trimed beard like a goatie, how cute, and I found myslef singing at the toop of my voice in a beutiful voice worthy is the Lamb. Now I cannot sing and I do not want to try. I would rather listen to my worship music at home, and yet I found myslef singing in a gergous voice worhy is the Lamb out loud. I just thought I would share that with you. and then I woke up not long after that. Praise God. Have you had any supernatural

The Book of Mormon goes into amazingly specific detail describing the civilizations erected by the "Nephites" and "Lamanites," who were Jews that fled Palestine in three installments, built massive cities in the New World, farmed the land, produced works of art, and fought large-scale wars which culminated in the utter destruction of the Nephites in A.D. 421. The awkward is the total lack of historical and archaeological evidence to support the Book of Mormon. For example, after the cataclysmic last battle fought between the Nephites and Lamanites, there was no one left to clean up the mess. Hundreds of thousands of men and beasts allegedly perished in that battle, and the ground was strewn with weapons and armor. The truth is that no scientist, Mormon or otherwise, has been able to find anything to substantiate that such a great battle took place.

So why is a "burning in the bossom" the proof of evidence that satisfies Mormons?

For non-believers... can love make you change your mind? Lets say you fall in love with somebody who is a Christian.. and it so happened that she's a devout Christian and she wants to get married through the church ceremonies? Would you change your mind for her? or would you end the relationship just to stand firm on your principle of being an atheist?

...how come Halloween is so widely celebrated there? You Americans spend billions of dollars each year celebrating what is effectively a satanic festival, that rejoices in the dark forces. How does that fit with all your pious born-again Christianity?

I've noticed, here and in real life, Wiccans get bashed a pretty decent amount, sometimes by other pagans. I know you all have a serious fluffy bunny infestation. I was wondering how frusterating it is to sift through these people?

Could that be the reason why he gave us the 10 Commandments? Because He wanted us to be just like him.

He is Pure
He is Love
He is Peace
He is Kind
He is Giving
He is Forgiving

and alot more good things

So anything that doesnt represent him, he is against it.

Remember God's Commandments are not to harm anyone but to help everyone

The Wickedness and Judgment of Men

Genesis 6:5-8

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, " I will distroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have mad them. " But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

The general rules of evolution and random factors make cancer, miscarriages, and various congenital diseases a simple fact of nature. What do these same things say about a creator being? Some of the idea's given in here about why we have cells growing out of control (cancer), organs developing in less than sufficient ways (congenital heart disease), and embryo's developing in ways that do not support life (miscarriage's) just do not make a bit of sense to me. I simply cannot believe that I have heart disease because some cave man (Adam) messed up. I also cannot accept that my sister lost most of her colon to cancer because an "all loving" creator being caused, or allowed, it to happen. Feel free to explain whatever you believe.

"Not everyone who says to me[ Jesus]' Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom, but only those who do the will of my father in heaven. Many will say to me in that [ future] day, 'Lord, Lord, we preached in your name, didn't we? We cast out demons in your name, didn't we?' then I will declare to them: ' Depart from me, you who work iniquity. I never recognized you" Matthew. 7: 21-23. With over 3,000 different religions, teaching different doctrines , teaching their own Jesus Christ, producing their own bibles, producing their own traditions of men and not the doctrines of God, Who can stand before him? Please in all honesty elaborate on these scriptures.

Here it is, the great imponderable, so, breaking down all barriers of resistance, let's ponder it, Cosmic Dreamers, and I mean all of you, every one, for we are all Cosmic Dreamers. The words have been around for thousands of years, and continually get brought up in all sorts of different contexts.

"I am, that I am."

What is your personal take on the precise meaning of those words, and what is their 'power', if any ?
