"Not everyone who says to me[ Jesus]' Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom, but only those who do the will of my father in heaven. Many will say to me in that [ future] day, 'Lord, Lord, we preached in your name, didn't we? We cast out demons in your name, didn't we?' then I will declare to them: ' Depart from me, you who work iniquity. I never recognized you" Matthew. 7: 21-23. With over 3,000 different religions, teaching different doctrines , teaching their own Jesus Christ, producing their own bibles, producing their own traditions of men and not the doctrines of God, Who can stand before him? Please in all honesty elaborate on these scriptures.

All who claimed to be a Christian knows Jesus Christ...but the importance is not just knowing Christ as to who He is, what He has done for the world and what we are to do in following His example. All of these is not enough...why because knowledge of Him or just following His example does not make us worthy of entering heaven...it is in having that personal relationship with Christ.
When one has that relationship...Jesus is not only Saviour but Lord...Lord in a sense of having a surrendered life in His perfect will and that is doing what God has instructed us to do. We can do the work of Mother Theresa but not have a personal realtionship with Christ in our life does not make us worthy of heaven.
With the scripture above that you have asked, many claim to have done the work of Christ, preaching, casting out demons, doing charitable work in His name but still do not have a surrendered life...that is the reason why Christ said that they are to depart who work iniquity...are they doing those work because they are obeying God or that it is good to have a good name? Fame always goes to those who broadcast what they have done for the name of Christianity but only God sees the true motive....
Obedience in doing the will of the Father will only be done if ..i say again...have a personal relationship with Christ...then it is out of love the work of the Father is done....I hope you will see clearly of what it means to have that relationship with Jesus Christ....

Some people think that they have their own kingdom, or that they can live for THEMSELVES...we are all supposed to contribute to God's kingdom while we are here on Earth, not be judgemental (God will not show you mercy when you do this), selfish, etc...God will show grace to unbelievers (there is such a thing as general grace), and this is to give ample time and opportunity to change and grow in the Lord, to grow spiritually...This is not easy and it is something that requires WORK...God wants us to have an abundant life, and if you live right, things will flow and you will feel the blessings and God's love...When you think you have done enough, you need to do more and more and more...It can be little things, small things, but seek God's guidance, ask for forgiveness daily, enjoy life, train and guard your mind, think positive, and remember that life is short...there will be many challenges, especially as you get closer to the Lord or grow spiritually, whatever religion you are...and have faith. II Corinthians 5.7

This passage demonstrates the difference between 'religion' and 'relationship'. In religion, works are emphasized - being good, giving to the poor, helping others, memorizing scripture, attending church, and yes even casting out demons (in Christ's name).

But all this does not mean that a person has given Christ the reigns of his life - that's what it means for Him to be Lord. Many unbelievers tithe at one church or another, because they have experienced the financial blessing it brings - but tithing doesn't get you into heaven.

This is why I'm against things like 'blue laws' and prayer in school. Getting people to "act Christian" is not the same as getting people to BE Christian. I personally know three men who act more Christian than the vast majority of Christians I know - but they don't have Christ as their Lord and Savior - so He would tell them "I don't know you." if they were to die today.

Don't ACT Christian..... BE Christian.

yes I have considered those Scriptures and know there will be many who think that are christian who will find that is not enough. we need to be willing to serve God and others to be sure we know Jesus. not just follow church doctrine.

chrisianity is only the only way to God through Jesus it is not a religion but a way of knowing God.
