No we are not at war with Iraq!
We have been reduced to a police supporting action, and are fighting a a social belief. Iraq is just where we choose to allow the fight.

No, the war ended awhile ago. However, we are staying over there to 'protect' the people of Iraq. Ironically enough, since Saddam was expunged violence has increased and there is more death going on now than before we got there. People are actually wishing for Saddam back. Some. We only made it worse. Those billions of dollars we spent over there could have: cured many diseases, built thousands of schools, developed a new source of fuel, developed 'ghetto'areas etc.

No we are not at war with Iraq. We are at war against the terrorists that threaten both the soldiers and the citizens that want a country of peace and stability.

No. We are in the midst of an illegal invasion of Iraq based on a lie by George W. Bush that they had weapons of mass destruction as a result of AAAAALLLLLL the "yellow cake" they had been purchasing from Niger.

George Bush, Dick Cheney, and the rest of this administration should be in prison for ordering the U.S. DOD to do what has been done.

Yet, this idiot still has so much support. This is very dangerous for our country.

Unbelievably, only a minority is in favor of impeachment, which is the process we need at the moment.

What you mean "we," Kimosabe?

No, the US is not at war with Iraq. In order for us to be at war, Congress needs to declare it. So far as I know, it has not done so. President Bush is at war with Iraq, and since he is Commander in Chief of the armed services, he figures he has the right to order them anywhere to do anything.

He's wrong about that.

NO, only Congress can declare War. The PRez got an ok to fight terror and took it upon himself to do Iraq.
Congress failed its' duty. When the dust settles, more than just the Prz should be held accountable, including our selves for playing 'dead ignorant'.

No. The "war" took only a few days. We went in there and wrecked everything.

What we're doing now isn't "war"--it's just called that to pander to hawks and make Americans feel like we're fighting the bad guys.

What we're actually doing is trying to stick our fingers in the hole in the Titanic (the US is the iceberg in this analogy). It's not working, and it'll probably get even worse when we leave, but we can't stay there forever. It's a lose-lose situation now...seems like the best option now is to just cut our losses.

No. Iraq is having a civil war and we are mixed up in it trying to figure out how to get out without it becoming an even bigger bloodier mess.
