Many people here are offended by wakefulness, apparently.
I can't say I'm surprised.

I wondered what happened to your question! I got the email notice as one of your contacts and since I DID happen to be awake at that early hour, I clicked to reply and it said the question had been deleted. I thought maybe you had changed your mind about asking it.
Not sure why this would be a violation...I'd suggest that you ask Yahoo! but I did that once and got a stupid form response that didn't explain the reason for the violation...I still don't know why my question was deleted.
Perhaps if you had included some additional details that made it a relevant R&S topic (for example, asking something about the "early will I seek thee" verse and asking how many had started their day with the Lord) it might have been ok. I don't know that you didn't do this since it was deleted before I saw it, but just a thought...perhaps it was interpreted as an invitation to chat? Who knows!

Not relevant to the topic of the section you asked in.
Also, 'polling' or 'surveying' (using Y!A to ask opinions etc. about other Y!A users) isn't allowed anywhere except the section made specifically for it.
So yeah, it violated community guidelines in two ways.

Forget it and have a nice day. It's all Christian crap talk. My questions get thumbs down, but it gets to be a Best Answer. Don't worry. Be happy. and Chose to be awaken by birds chirping. By "awake", do you mean: "Wake up: g-d doesn't exist" or "Is everyone awake yet I'm still sleepy."?

This isn't a real question or a poll; its just a comment and its suitable in a chat room instead. You cannot ask these type of questions, its against the Community Guidelines.
You can directly ask Yahoo! to explain why such a question is illegal, though. They can explain it to you in detail.

It is not violation, and you know what, many of us that stand for Jesus get this all the time. I just experienced it too on a goofy situation, but we dont have to worry. God will deal with ppl who defame Him, Its out job to live Gods truths and speak them and pray for those that dont. More will come in . To those that dont, they arent our concern.
Keep your faith, and keep speaking. Noone can silence a child of God Noone. Bless you......

One of my biggest complaints with Yahoo Answers is that they NEVER check to see if the troll that reported you actually was making a genuine report or if it's a bogus report just meant to cost you points and annoy you. My second biggest gripe is that they don’t respond if you appeal it or ask “What did I do wrong?”
Welcome to YaHELL!

I think it is considered chatting, which is against the rules.
What a shame that nice questions like this get removed and horribly disrespectful ones stay up.
