Atheists say God doesn't exist because they don't want Him to exist! If they admitted that God exists they would have to own up to their sinfulness. They've already decided ahead of time that they don't want God to exist, so every time they try to "disprove" God, they are just begging the question. If they weren't so closed minded, they would be able to see that God does indeed exist.

You guys are always asking," If God is perfect, and God created everything, how did God create Evil?" Which is a great question cause us Christians can never answer intelligently. But anyways, my question is:...

If humans are inherently good, and we individually choose our own right and wrong. Where did evil come from?

Hi there, friends :) (You all know who you are.)

I've found that it's time to quit this forum; too many negative changes lately, plus I've been using it as a distraction to avoid dealing with a certain issue. But before I go, I wanted to post a 'goodbye' message and include my thanks to all from whom I've learned so much - there are so many that I'd never finish sending personal messages. And to those who have given me many laughs which brightened lots of my days immensely. I've had a wonderful time here, and I'll miss you all very much. My 360 page will remain so that we can stay in touch, but I also wanted to send some big (((hugs))) to those who don't use 360 and who don't allow email. I wish you all the very best in your lives, and once again, I thank you all :)

Peace!

Athiests or people who are non-religious. I'm letting you make fun of me because I'm a Christian. Okay? Don't ask. It's just to see what you would say to a Christian if you got mad. And don't put any bs about this question just make fun of me.

I heard someone argue why it's better to be Christian. He that that if he was wrong and God did not exist, then he has lost nothing. He said that if us atheists are wrong, we go to Hell. He was trying to imply that there is a possible negative to being an atheist but no negative to being a Christian. What about not being allowed to live your life to fullest. Many Christians I know WILL NOT do certain things because they believe God will punish them. My best friend is a Christian and will not drink, will not have sex untill he is married, and ae also refuses to play video games because he says they are ungodly. It would seem to me that Christians like my friend are missing out on a lot of things in life because of their beliefs. If us atheists are right, and you Christians are wrong, we will be the ones who benefit because we will have lived our lives to the fullest while you Christians did not.

Why is it that one of the ten commandments is to not make or bow down to any idols yet as catholics and christians we have a cross and the jewish faith has the six pointed star? What is the difference here? Are these not idols we pray too and bow down too? I don't understand...

one must understand what propaganda is and where the origin came from.... and understand what a religion is, even if they don't see their own faith or "relationship" as a "religion"

Doesn't he realize that US goes to war because another Country attacks US first. Or is planning to attack US?

Then also what about http//www.iranfocus.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=5183 where they sentenced to death a women who defended herself when a group of guys who tried to gang rape her & she accidently killed one. Then they would have sentenced her to death if she didn't try to defend herself also. Damn if she does & damn is she doesn't.

Why are they so self righteous. When Jesus Christ did just the oposite regarding the women who was caught in the act of adultery? Because Iran is an oppressive nation.

here is one biblical example of a deity killing born children

"And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead." (Exodus 12:29-30)

Those who were wrong about celibacy are also wrong about monogamy because the God has always allowed Polygamy.

Where does GOD say in the Bible that you can only have one wife ?

Gods words and Pauls' personal opinions are not equal.

Deut. 21:15 If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated:

Deut. 21:16 Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn:

Deut. 21:17 But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a DOUBLE portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.

and more christians talk about religion as something "personal"?
is it their way of accepting "defeat"?
society doesnt need them to decide so they keep it personal as if that was their choice when the truth is that is what circumstances lead them to...because when society doesnt need religion as a general matter the only thing left to do for christians is to keep it "personal"...
Like a child with a ball rejected by a group of children will say: ok i go with my ball and i play alone!
