You guys are always asking," If God is perfect, and God created everything, how did God create Evil?" Which is a great question cause us Christians can never answer intelligently. But anyways, my question is:...

If humans are inherently good, and we individually choose our own right and wrong. Where did evil come from?

Evil is created and was created by choosing the wrong.Question is who defined wrong and who defined good?Darkness is the absence of light as light is the absence of darkness.Life can only exist in the presence of both.Life without evil would be pointless.Life without good would be just as pointless. We need both to define us for who we are through our choices. For after this life we will either be with the light or the darkness, decided by the choices we made in our time here.

Well, I am neither Humanist nor Christian, but I think your question is not of same pattern as you mentioned. This can be easily answered and there is no sense in this.

You asked where did evil come from if human are inherently good. Well my friend, your question doesn't include the fact of doing mistakes. Your statement doesn't include "Human are Perfect" (which is obviously not true).

Well, this is also not true that the question they ask "If God is perfect, and God created everything, how did God create Evil?" can not be answered. This question also DOES NOT include that "Every Perfect Personality should also produce another perfect body". God obviously created "Evil & Devil" to differentiate between people with good morality and bad. Whether you believe it or not, everyone will be granted gifts for good and penalized for bad things after the judgment day. That's why IT IS CALLED "JUDGMENT DAY".

Evil is without the understanding of love. Love energy and negative energy both exist in all of us. Our actions determine the outcome. So we are naturally evil and good. It is up to the individual which path to choose. Shadow and Light both allow us to see shapes. It is the understanding of both where we gain wisdom in our lives.

Love is the natural essence of creation. But free will allows us to deal with both. Atmosphere, DNA, and reactions to negativity can affect evil. There is actually a way where scientists will genetically engineer DNA to create warrior like instincts to kill.

The physical realm is not Home. People make the mistake that the material world is what determines who we are. But the God source energy spawned a playground called a Universe. Evil and Good will battle for Eternity. Matter and Dark Matter. Expanding, Collapsing. It is all a natural way of learning more about ourselves and the wisdom to know the difference between right and wrong.

Why would God create evil? Because he made a mistake or did he? Or maybe God did this because he was bored. Or maybe that is the way the Universe balances out Creation and controls the population. He created Free Will. Oops! Now the children are playing naughty again.

Either way your soul is immortal. And no one can take that away from you. You can mess up as much as you want. The more the better. Because you will then learn more about yourself. And this is the way your spirit develops and matures.

I don't accept the premise of your question, which is that humanists believe people are ONLY inherently good.

Humans also have the capacity to be nasty, irrational and to make stupid decisions. Humans are part of nature, and nature is sometimes cruel and capricious.

The point of humanism, though, is that human responses to suffering or what you call evil must come from human beings themselves, not from outside. This is the main point of difference with some theistic worldviews, although it's quite consistent with others.

Because we individually choose right and wrong. Wrong can be evil. Why do we have day and night? Why do we have left and right why life and death , To have good you must have bad.

I guess Yoda Green never heard of Jeffrey Dahmer. If he had, he'd know the meaning of evil . . .

Good question and God bless you!

Maybe if you give us an empirical definition of "evil" we could answer you.
Because no one in history has ever been able to do so yet...
