All the time, they just use the political arena.
Global warming propoganda
Racial propoganda
Gay rights propoganda
Just a few some atheists try to push to the front of the media with their own versions of propoganda.
Propoganda isnt bad. Its used to sway people to your point of view. The Declaration of Independence was nothing more than a piece of propoganda trying to convince people to support a revolutionary war.
If the cause is worth fighting for and needs to be funded then why is it wrong to try to sway people to be on your side?

...uh, your on R&S, there is enough propaganda here to put Madison Ave. out of business. Nice bit you thought up though, the anti-propaganda thing, while at the same time making a pitch for whatever you believe in. Strange bedfellows though, atheists, unitarians, quakers, and buddhists. Funny.

The double standard of religion is schweet! No other group could get away with propaganda.
I heard of a lawsuit that is planning on sueing televangelists because they promise salvation for money and yet the people who are giving their money don't get salvation. So it's basically a fraudalent claim.

Pardon my quibbling, but you could say that every time the Buddhists appear in their saffron robes, that's a form of advertisement, if not actual proselytizing.
As for the Unitarians, have you read "Unitarian Jihad"? -- It's hilarious (link below).

Um, I have often seen advertisements for Atheism, consider, Evolution and Atheism are shown in MANY shows.
I seem to recall TV commercials for a local Uni church, though can't swear to it.

IMHO that is so wrong!
If your religion has merit, it should attract people.
Actually, the life-style of the members should attract.
Something's wrong if you have to 'buy' converts.
Remember Jesus sent out the 72 with no money.
Paul talks about how he earned his own keep.
