Actually, no. Because anything good might just as equally come from non-religious beliefs. To qualify for a yes, it would have to be something good that we ALL agree no-one can get without being religious. And there is nothing in that category.

Religious beliefs seem to motivate some people to perform charitable acts. I'm not convinced that those people wouldn't be as motivated to do good by nonreligious affiliations, but it'd be pretty hard to deny that in the world we live in, religion inspires charity.
I think that religion is pretty much "a wash" as far as whether it is good for the world or bad, on the balance.

Yes, I know lots of people for whom religion provides a sense of purpose, meaning and structure. Religious belief can also be an aid to mindfulness. If you pause to ask yourself "what would Jesus do?", you will tend to act with a broader view of the world than immediate self-gratification.
There are certainly some drawbacks to religion, and other, perhaps better ways to get there, but religion still works for some people.

It's important for people with religious needs to have beliefs that make them feel good.
Religion is an emotion, and people who need it should have it.
It doesn't do anything for me, but I've seen people who get help from it.

I used to think that there were some positives, but I'm not sure now. If there is, it's a different way of looking at it, some people are disposed to beliving in something.

Yep. Some people don't do evil things because of it, and they are very active in their charity work.
Now do I think that balances out the bad things. Its pretty close and on the whole I would say no.

Good things can emerge from any motivation, bad things too. It's the things themselves that count, not the "beliefs"

Nothing that one can't have without the beliefs.
Some people relate their sense of right and wrong with their religion, for instance. But you don't need religion to have a sense of right and wrong. In fact, religion gives people confused ideas of right and wrong.

Absolutely. I believe many people can find peace and compassion towards others through religious teachings. However, I am not a non-believer, I just believe differently than they do.

yes, LIFE is the good thing
but kinda confuse between the physical effect of searching the truth to control LIFE and simply living a typical LIFE of believing.
Life is about balance. if i used to much energy to search the truth i may find myself imbalance thus suffer my health.
