YES. " His Image" means; everything from: minerals to plants, animals to the highest form of "creations"...YOU...MANKIND.

God created man in the image and likeness of Himself. The image is still there, but the likeness went out with original sin. How you interpret that is how you do it.

No. Adam was created Holy and Happy. That is the part where we were created in his own image.

Well remember when God created man He was a spirit and had no physical body until He came and lived on earth as Jesus Christ.
So in our spirit or soul we have all the eternal attributes and nature of God. But we are born in sin and are not Divine.

It means your soul is the image of God.Our flesh was made from the dust of the earth.Our Soul is His very Breath.
Gen 2:7 "Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being" NASB.
