Are the people who jumped to their deaths on 9/11 from the twin towers in hell for committing suicide?

FYI~ when humans encounter intense heat such as that day, they instinctively do whatever it takes to get away from the heat, once it started to burn their skin, they did the only thing they could do, and that was jump.

I can't believe you holy rollers who have the audacity to even suggest these poor victims would go to hell for "jumping" out of the Towers. Where was your so called "God" that day?? Hmmmm??? You thumpers all claim he exists, but no one has ever seen him, I would think if "Jesus Saves" that would have been the best opportunity to show himself, but he didn't. Why?? Because he does not exist. Face it!

Ok, here is a nice and specific question i need some clever muslims to help me with. It seems that, i have learnt from a muslim i've been chatting with. That Muslims and Christians, but not Jews, believe that Jesus was the Messiah and that he will come again. Is that a fact?

What i am wondering now though, is what happens when the messiah and the prophet muhammed disagree on an issue, how do muslims reconcile this, who is considered more right? how could one be more right than another.
Here is a specific example. The Qu-ran and therefore the Prophet Muhammed endorsed retributive justice, an eye for an eye. Jesus specifically taught that not even retributive justice is ok, he preached total pacifism. How could the annointed one have gotten it wrong?

Romans 9:

3For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh,

4who are Israelites and to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;

5of whom are the fathers, and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

6It is not as though the Word of God hath taken no effect. For they are not all Israel, who are of Israel;

7neither because they are the seed of Abraham are they all children; but, "In Isaac shall thy seed be called."

8That is, they who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; rather, the children of the promise are counted as the seed.

Can it be said any clearer than that? And before you even give the familiar response, understand the above passage and then apply this to the proper people:

Genesis 12
1Now the LORD had said unto Abram, "Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee.

2And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.

3And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."

When there is a verse in the Bible that says :

The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Ok, what kind of monster could do that to a 3 year old???? I have a 3 year old daughter, and to be honest, if anyone even did anything remotely similar to this, he'd be dead. No questions, no hesitations, just kill a monster that gets turned on by babies.

According to the video portion, the child showed no emotion at all. For those who are parents, you know that if a child is going through something like that, they are kicking and screaming.

And what kind of mother doesn't even suspect something wrong at that age??? Where was her mother?? Or father??? Anyone but a "family friend". I'm a stay at home mother by choice. I don't trust daycares. The only people I trust with my two angels are my mother and my husband, because I have no doubts whatsoever that they are safe.

I don't mean to judge those parents who do, but why take such a huge risk with a "friend"???

If he was going to die for our sins, why didn't he turn himself in and do it? Did he really have a choice in the matter? Oh sure, he could have climbed down from the cross, he just didn't want to. Well, monkeys can fly out of my butt, they just don't want to.

I think it is, thats why I do it! But I don't hurt anyone. If I go to hell, GOOD. I don't want to spend eternity with a god as cruel, stupid, selfish, egomaniacial as that portrayed in the bible. That so-called god is evil, and I don't like being around evil beings.

An agnostic may lean heavily in one direction or another but in the final analysis says, I'm just not sure. An atheist says: "I know for an absolute fact without the slightest possibility to the contrary, that THERE IS NO GOD! What incredible faith.

Most religious people have doubts sometimes. It's part of being human. But to have absolute knoledge about something that can't be proven either way seems to hint at meglomania of somekind.

i am a deep believer in God but i believe that prayer is for spiritual goals than getting answers to mundane problems like cure my cancer or pay my credit card debts or make me pass with a B in this math exam please kind of prayers .
however as i am growing older ( i am 37 years and 4 months ) i am getting the feeling that when the exuberance and optimism of youth fade away and we have rubbed our idealistic shins on the rough concrete of reality we need some support some hope that things will be better . that the situation will be saved ; that as long as i have good intentions God is watching over me and that he is a benevolent God ...
so should i change my tack about God and start praying to him to answer my prayers as long as i promise the goodness of my soul shall always grow stronger till i die ?
opinion please ... i am feeling confused .( i am not a Christian or i could ask my pastor for help ; and anyone of any religious denomination is free to answer this question candidly )

I used to fight alot, and very rarely won. But the thought, the moment, the "honour", meant something , I guess. But, since I went to AA, i haven't beaten the living bejeezus out of anybody in at least two weeks. I have a coin that they gave me to prove it. Do you think that maybe I am ready to start attending church on a regular basis? Sometimes, I still get DT's, and I tell folks to stay the fudge away. Well, something like that. But, now that I have accepted a higher power into my life due to AA, i wonder, will a couple of vanilla vodkas interfere with the "direct line to god" that I have set up in my pseudo-religious enlightenment?

Acts chapter 4:

32And the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and of one soul; neither said any one of them that any of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.
33And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.
34Neither was there any among them that lacked, for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold
35and laid them down at the apostles' feet. And distribution was made unto every man according as he had need."

I have tried meditating and while I see colors and feel things I do not believe that it is from some kind of spiritual being. I believe is has something to do with the chemicals that are released when you are breathing deep, etc. Do any of you know what is going on with your brain during meditation?
