I was baptized in the Catholic church as a 13 yr old,but didn't truly understand what Catholicism was,and never had my first confession,I am pretty sure I had confirmation and first communion but that was it.When i turned 19 I was an atheisist and then when I was 21-24 I was into Hinduism and other forms of non-Christian eastern religion. At 24 I was saved and rebaptized as a Christian but this time I was baptized in a Baptist church, later I tried several churches but never fully felt spiritually at home,in 2005 I started to get the desire to return to the Catholic church,,now at the age of 27 I have a deep desire to go to confession and take all the sacraments,I am not a member of any Catholic church yet,ANY ADVICE??HOW DO I GO FOR FIRST CONFESSION???HOW DO I GET RIGHT WITH THE CATHOLIC CHURCH???

...to prevent being a bad seed.
...to prevent misdirecting and misguiding others.
...to prevent our own indecisions from misleading others
.

...and DO YOU MONITOR THESE THINGS OFTEN? Is it part of your "system mechanism"?

What would you say if I told you I've been there many times before and after that first visit, knew that I was completely safe and protected?

Do you understand that what you see on the news is not the norm? The things you hear about in Pakistan, with "leaders" (HA!) ordering innocent women to be raped happens in tribal areas, going completely against Islam. The government is trying to crack down on them, and if you watched GeoTV or any other news outside of the US, you would see that there are shootouts between terrorists and the Pakistani military.

Do you think that if you were to visit the country's you bash, and learned they were not what you saw on TV, that your mind would change? I remember getting on my former inlaw's nerves because I kept asking to go see the desert I had seen on the news, and they said "Will you stop asking alreadY??? There is no desert here!!" (After the 9th time that hour).

Are stereotypes really that hard to change?

Here's my take on this, and this is based on my strong personality trait. I am going to refer to socionics or MBTI for this assessment, so if anyone is familiar, PLEASE reply with thought regarding personality and religious (or non-religion) choice. I think this has more to do with individual workings of the mind and personality. I happen to be an INTP who practices the J component a lot due to professional/occupational choice.

I came back as a Christian from being agnostic/atheist (backlash christian) in the past. When I came back, I decided that taking some portions of the bible (the doctrine portions vs. easier time with good principles) gives me doubts on its veracity. For example, I had a harder time with accepting Jesus than God; harder time with accepting creation as literal; harder time with the concept of heaven. And easier time accepting basic good principles: goodness, love, compassion, etc. And the easiest hurdle to accept a goodness in God. My personality?

There have been so many times where I have prayed for myself to learn and see God beyond what I am taught. Of course I have minor doubts about certain things in the bible and whatever (creation story is iffy), but I completely believe in God, Christ, and prayer, and the Bible where it doesn't contain illogical aspects. I just wish I can know for sure that God is there and not just associating coincidences as "proof" per se. I just don''t know.

How can you tell if your next door neighbors are Aliens? Cause I'm sure I have Aliens next door to me....I watched for one year a guy work his *** off, 12 hour days or longer remodeling a house.....It took him a year, I have never seen him drink or eat anything at all....last week I saw him take his first bite of sandwich....it was weird! Does anyone else have Aliens living next to them?

Religious people say that you will still go to heaven as long as you ask for forgiveness for your sins. So why not just sin until you get ready to go to heaven?

How about this ... If I where born at the time and place you where born, to your parents, with your DNA and experienced life under the same conditions you have, then I would be where you are in this place in time.

Its like this: All of my actions are reactions to other actions taken place. My reactions create reactions in themselves just like a domino. Now if move the domino that is me and exchange it with the domino that is you, I will react the same way you did under your conditions and you will react the same as I once had.

If this is true, then it changes the landscape of the human exsistance. It seems plausable, but is it true?

My question is there are thousands of terrible things happening at this second and I wanted to know if God purposely does this so that he doesn't repeat his mistake which he had done with Satan. Thus basically I have come to believe (and I don't imply this as an insult) that God when he had created humanity that he was somewhat inexperianced and that God is somewhat human. I belive that he is human because the very fabric of the universe was created from his very soul and if God created everything that must mean that he put his love into his creation thus I have come to belive that he is somewhat human. Last, but not least scientists have theorized that there are more than one universes thus they are called a multiverse thus I have theorized that heaven, hell, and earth were created after the universe of heaven was established. Some many questions yet are there any answers?

I do not like the mention of satan. I'd prefer not to mention it in any conversation and if I never said "satan" throughout the rest of my life, it wouldn't matter to me. Why do some people use that "satan" argument a lot?

Q: You didn't create us to love us because you wanted us to choose to love you, therefore making the love genuine and real. However, you also pass storms and trials in our lives so that we can learn to turn to you and grow in Christ and ultimatley love you. But isn't that basically tricking us into loving you? Explain this please....

The answer i'm guessing it would be: it's not tricking us into loving him- it's God simply trying to push him towards what's best for us- Himself. However....it's still trickery in ways.

Have you ever had such a burden to pray for someone that as you prayed with understanding the Holy Spirit totally took control and prayed through you. I am not talking about tongues here (which by the way I am cool with). I am talking about a groaning that comes from what seems to be the very heart of God.
