I do not like the mention of satan. I'd prefer not to mention it in any conversation and if I never said "satan" throughout the rest of my life, it wouldn't matter to me. Why do some people use that "satan" argument a lot?

A Christian does not cringe because the spiritual warfare we are all a part of is reality.Read Scripture.Satan and demons are real and influence people in profound ways.Using the terms as an excuse or argument without facts is a whole other issue.But if you cringe at the name being used in any form then you are making up your own brand of religion.Read Ephesians 6 for a primer.
