How can you say you have the same Spirit as the Apostles and their disciples, when you have no Apostles to lay hands on you..

Paul wrote:

1 cor. 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall CEASE; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

and a lot of so called spirit filled churches, always speak in tounges, when the head Apostle told you not to..

Mt. 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and BLASPHEMY shall be forgiven unto men: but the BLASPHEMY against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

and another nor in the here after!!!!!

I enjoy seeing your questions and reading your responses as they inspire and encourage me, make me think and sometimes fall over laughing. Therefore, I have just a couple of questions, so I can get a better sense of who you are. If you'd take the time to answer them that would be fabulous! Have an awesome day! HAPPY FRIDAY!

1.) How old are you?

2.) Where do you currently reside?

3.) What is your occupation?

Do you believe our earth is going to end itself eventually or that a god/goddess will end it? Or is this belief primarilly reserved for Christianity and Islam?

we already have a term ("troll") here for those that purposely incite/provoke others....

the question is WHAT shall we call those that ask question that are COMPLETELY INSANE, that ramble, use such poor English that they are nearly unintelligible, and/or sound like they were asked by a crack-head. I believe these quacks deserve a word to call their own as well!

suggestions? i personally vow to start using the best answer.

Arrogance seems to be an insult hurled at you from Christians quite often--but is it really a valid insult to you?

I'm not trying to be a sh**stirrer at all--I just wondered if maybe you think pride is a good thing. If you have made yourself what you are through your own efforts, then wouldn't pride be somewhat of a natural response?

I see many questions trying to disprove people's beliefs. I wonder what people are looking to get in resonse to stating something like... "Here is the proof that what you believe in is FALSE". Be it against christians, muslims, atheists, etc. I see the same thing happening. The people that believe what you believe will agree. The people that don't believe what you believe will call you a dope.

Are people assuming that they'll convert someone out of their religion or lack thereof? Because i think most people sign off of yahoo answers still believing what they believed before so, again, what's the point of even posting certain things...

I guess some people just enjoy poking fun, but some people seem really determined to show you the error of your belief. So i'm honestly wondering what it's for? Are people trying to "expose your beliefs for what they are" or something? because more than likely, you've heard everything out there.

What are people's motives for these questions??

You atheists believe that there is scientific reasons for all miracles that occur out of prayer and faith. So how do you explain someone being so overcome with the presence of God that they suddenly are able to speak in a lanquage they have never studied or never seen, and understand every word they are speaking. Not only that, but others around often understand perfectly as well. I have seen this many times, it is a true and common occurance, so how do you explain that?

Many of us have accused Christians of indoctrinating their children, but I've just learned that Christians are actually against indoctrination:

2007-09-28 05:42:54 · 7 answers · asked by Anonymous

I know that it because of desperation/lack of education, etc.

But what do you think? Plese don't try to argue the fact, because it has been tested and verified that the less money you make the more likely you are to be religious.

This does not say that all poor people are religious or that no rich people are religious. But, most religious people come from low-income households.
