KD, what about the verse where Jesus said to "deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow me"? Some may interpret this as instructions to walk into persecution that could lead to death.

How you live by far. I've known more decent human beings among the nonbelievers than the believers. After all, you don't hear about atheists or Satanists using their organizations to shield babyrapers from the law.

Christians can't make that claim.

How you live your life.

You may believe something but if your actions do not match your beliefs then you are lying to yourself and the world.

That is why if "Jesus" came back, he'd feel sorry for just about every person who claims to be "Christian".

He said: "Be like me" not "follow me". BIG DIFFERENCE and the intersting thing is to truly be like the guy, you MUST be bigger than the Christian religion.

There are more athiests who are "Christ-like" than there are Christians who are "Christ-like".....

Waitin' for the "thumbs downs".

i think the way you live your life matters more than what you believe.
the ripples in the worlds. the circles of joy or sadness, of good energy or bad that you spread around are determined by what you do and how you live and not by what you belive.

so what you "BE" and "LIVE" is more important than what you believe :)

Hiiiiiiiiiiiii Chris~

For myself, as a Christian, to make any distinction/excuse for elevating one over the other is a cop out to me. Being human, our lives cannot ever achieve the perfection of Christ (our belief)...but you are supposed to go out 'fighting' to match your 'walk' to your 'talk'.

Part of my belief is BELIEVING that I can live what I believe.

I think one compliments the other, so they're equally important.
