Many of us have accused Christians of indoctrinating their children, but I've just learned that Christians are actually against indoctrination:

What do you think about that?

Hmmmmm very interesting that their opinion is so different when the shoe is on the other foot.

So let me get this straight: It is completely acceptable to indocrinate children as long as you are teaching them that God is real. However, it is completely unacceptable to indoctrinate a child into the belief that God is not real.

It is okay for a Christian parent to raise a child to follow their beliefs but an atheist parent is supposed to let the child make up their own minds? The Christian parent should not be required to allow the child to make up his or her own mind?

Just want to make sure I have the rules straight...

It's kind of like asking them how they would feel about prayer in school if a teacher led their children in a Buddhist prayer. The answer: it's a CHRISTIAN prayer in the public schools.

Yeah, right.

How typical... they are against teaching anything except their own dogma and do not want to allow other parents the same freedoms they demand.
