I am a Remnant L.D.S. I am looking for someone els who is either a Remnant L.D.S. or Re-Organized L.D.S. I am a female. There are no single groups in Oregon for Remnant L.D.S. I need help.

Why is it that so many people read Matthew 7:1 and stop there? If they were to read on to verse 5, there they would see that we are to judge.Here in these scriptures there are two judgements that take place.
1.We judge ourselves by taking the beam from our own eye first.
2.We judge our brother after we have dealt with ourselves first.

Mat 7:1 "Judge not, that ye be not judged.
Vs.2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Vs.3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Vs.4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
Vs.5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye."

Let's say for the sake of argument that god exists.
Could it be that he remains invisible to see how we act when we think he's not looking. If we had proof god exists, wouldn't we be good for the sake of gaining favor? Perhaps god wants us to become good people on our own, because that is the only way our goodness is genuine.

While in church today, I was reflecting on the time that I had spent learning about Christ as a child for 8 years during weekly Catechism classes. During my younger years, I remember thinking/believing that no other religion in the world even existed except for Catholicism - not because I was taught that specifically there weren't any other religions, but because no other religions were ever mentioned in my Catechism classes. As a matter of fact, it wasn't until I was finally in junior high school that I even learned that other religions existed. At that point, I started to quickly realize that although I grew up unaware of any other religion, it seemed that my peers not only practiced other religions, but also knew of the Catholic faith AND the differences between my religion and their own.

Why is it that most Catholics have grown up unaware of other religions, but yet our peers not only practiced other religions, but could tell us the differences between them as well?

I am kinda ignorant on what is the difference is between them. From what i can tell Atheists believe in nothing while Agnostics believe there might be some kind of god. Is this true or am I way off?

I watched a video that scared me with facts on how god isn't real. i feel so sad and empty. this video is too detailed and i wish i never saw it. it changed my feelings. i am not as happy as i used to be. i am actually afriad of dying and the only thing that is going to happen is become dirt. please answer. i don't want to feel this way.

By this, even to the non-Christians, I mean, sin, bad things in life, even the devil himself,can all of this try to screw up your mental state and fill it with fear, doubt, and unscertainty?

Every time I keep turning closer to God, and what not, I keep having more and more setbacks, like something is trying desperately to keep me from God.

Ironically, today, I was taking a nap, and then woke up and a sudden flush of fear overhwhelmed me and a sense of doom came over me.

Immediately, I realized I was probably h aving a panic attack and took some meds for it, but my spiritual side felt attacked as well. I felt very scared, fearful, and doomed. Almost like, F*ck I've sinned, I've not made my amends with God, and now the devil is coming to take me to hell, and I started to freak out, because it literally felt like that.

Basically something out of the exorcist. I felt like I was getting possessed by something, and the world around me looked SCARY!

of course I didn't tell

the caucasian wicked rulers have through the help of there deaf dumb and blind dead ***** slaves have helped to bring in a contrary world that is wicked and totally opposed to the standards and ways of THE ALMIGHTY GOD and against the NATION OFTHE TRUE RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE..my question is should the present world ruled by the wicked rulers continue or will it and they be burn by fire? How is it that someone can auctually believe in crap like wicca, paganism or satanism. Anyone that doesn't believe in the One True God is going to burn in Hell. I don't care if you don't believe in it. you will figure it out when you are burning there, tell me, what in your right minds makes you think you will not suffer eternal damnation? The thief on the cross did not need to be baptized because he was under the old law ... jesus told him that he would be with him in paradise ... correct?? well why did jesus tell Nicodemus in John 3 5 that he needed to be baptized to enter into the kingdom if Nicodemus was also under the old law ... jesus had not died yet so they were both under the old law. so was jesus really saying we need to be baptized to go to heaven in John 3 5 ... if you agree that being born of the water means being baptized in water, like Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3 5, because he was under the old law, the thief could not have went to heaven cause he was not baptized I just dont understand how Jesus would tell two different people exact opposite things Help ...God Bless

why most of the major religions portrays the almighty as a man.only hinduism portrays a male and a female.the male being nothing without his consort.dont you think a woman better fits the profile for the almighty.she will be like a mother and us her children.what about all the beauty of nature,it more looks like the work of a woman than a man.
