Faith in God is exactly that, faith. Many can come up with arguments that God isn't real. They can do so all they want but it's up to your heart to make the decision. If you know in your heart that he's there (my heart knows that he is), then there's no need to worry.
I think of it this way, if I were to be wrong and there wasn't a God, then the worst that could happen is that I would simply cease to exist when I die. If this were to be the case, I would never actually find out, right? Yet if I'm right, and he's out there, I will know the difference after I die and I'll be grateful that I did (and do).
Faith in God is always challenged, it's up to you to persevere against all the odds that non-believers put forth. By the way, I believe that you and I watched the same film and there was no proof against God. It's like people are running around on the faith that there isn't a God. That is fine with me but I choose to believe because it feels right. People will tell you that you can't believe in something that you can't see. Well, you can't actually see these people's brains, can you? How do you know that they're there? Can you actually see your brain? Yet, somehow, you know it's there don't you?

Aw, I feel bad that the video upset you. But don't think that if there is no God that there's only death and dirt after life, sweetie! There are lots of options in between the two extremes.
- Some people believe in reincarnation, that when we die we can come back and start all over again if we like.
- Some believe when you die, you come back as an animal.
- Some believe that when you pass on you enter a tunnel leading to a brilliant white light and at the end of the tunnel, all those you ever loved who have passed on before you will be waiting for you there. (That's a nice one!)
- And I believe that when you croak, you join the mass consciousness that is pure, bright energy and once you're there, you can decide what to do next; stay or return or go somewhere entirely different.
Don't be scared. Life is an adventure, and so is the end of it.
Luv.
XO

There must be someone that you love, or someone who loves you, right? Doesn't matter what kind of love -- romantic love, love between friends, love between a parent and a child. Can you see that love? Touch it? Hear it? No - you can't. You *know*, however, that that love is there. How do you know? You can *feel* it. You can feel love in all the ways that form the connections with the people you love and the people who love you.
So it is with God. You can't see God, touch God, or hear God. What you *can* do is feel God's presence in the world around you, in people and places, in the air you breathe and the food you eat, in all the people that matter in your life.
Anyone who has religious belief goes through periods of doubt and fear and uncertainty. Perhaps you should talk to someone you trust, someone who believes the same things as you, so that you don't feel so alone afraid during this part of your journey. Conversation with someone from the same tradition can go a long way. Maybe you should pray. Prayer goes a long way too and is just another conversation, a conversation with God.

Dear,
Please listen to me. Please look up. Look at the Sky. The Sky is there for million of years. No pillers to support it. The sky does not fall. There must be sombody who built it or create it and administer it and mantain it. In the night look up at the galaxy, millions of Stars hanging at the galaxy and was there for million of years, the moon is there. Can you make a Star?. If you can. Make and hang it at the Galaxy. How are you going to the Galaxy. Now you feel dying. Why are you feeling dying. How long can you live on this earth? The most is 100 years or more or less. At this moment life average is 60 years. (Noah live for 950 years). Can't you live for ever and ever. Why must you are dying. Who create life and death. Why not life and no death. Why not every beings right from Adam and Eve live for ever and ever including us. The world porpulation by Wikipedia as at July 2005 at about 6,446,131,4000. Should we include the death in the world Flood during Noah of Ark and the death of Pharoah and his men during the chasing of Moses and his 12 tribes Hebrews followers across the Sea of Reeds it may be 4 times the numbers of porpulation as at July 2005.
To sum up, There is God. God who create Mankind. I'm a Muslim. I belief in one God. The God that create and Govern the universe. (In Arabic, Al-Muhyee-The giver of life. He, who gives life and health. Al-Mumeet-The creator of death. He, who creates death). He, who create the universe and govern the universe. He, who create the earth. He, who create mankind and make mankind as agent on earth. He's, the one God. He is Al-Khaaliq-The Creator. He, who crerates everything from nothing and creates all things with the knowledge of what happen to them.
We must give God all Praise. He's the Lord of creation. God alone We Worship and God alone we beseeks for help and Guide us to the straight paths.

No one can prove God isn't real, try as they may. It's a lot more logical to believe we came from a Creator than to believe we came from nothing and that life is an accident. Are you a Christian? Don't you know Jesus personally? Have you talked with him? Maybe now's a good time. Tell him about your concerns. Tell him about the video you watched. Be honest, he knows your heart anyway. And see what happens as a result.

be happy with the facts, so god isen't real. nothing has changed at all, the world is still the same as you left it before you saw that video, it diden't depress you before why should it depress tou now? you're right, when you die it'll be the end of you. but it won't nessicarly be bad it'll just be like being in a deep sleep. don't be sad, do something good with your life and feel fullfilled when you die, it's the most you can hope for.

Nobody can tell you that God exists.
But no one can tell you He doesn't, either, including a random video.
This is something you have to decide for yourself. Think about why you believe in God, pray, talk to a religious leader you trust (and one that you know isn't just going to try to get you to believe what they want you to believe), and figure out what you believe for yourself.
It is actually really important to examine your faith in this way... if you decide that you do believe in God, your belief will be stronger than it was before because you have reasons for it, rather than blind faith.

God will always be one step ahead of science. The more we discover the more we will find there is to know. The intricacy of the universe is testimony to power in the beauty of the power of our Creator. Open your heart to God! Pray with real emotion in your own words! Pray for the faith to be strong and your faith will come back strong. Also, pay attention to your dreams. Often when we pray from our heart with pure intentions God answers with signs in our dreams. Listen to your own heart and don't worry about the words of those who's hearts are dark and empty.
God Bless,
AAD

I'm a bit of an atheist. I consider myself more undecided but, I have to tell you that the evidence against many religious point of view is overwhelming. Note that I did not said God but religion. Religious people hate to admit it but there are many faults in the bible. By the same token there are also many truth in the bible. I have to answer your questions in various parts.
#1 no matter who tells you what the existance of God has not been proven but it hasn't been disprovened either. Is one of those unprovable things because so far we haven't found any evidence to measure or compare against. So, is more of a philosophycal thing than anything else.
#2 nobody really knows if there is a life after death or not although the evidence seems to point to no. However, the evidence is speculatory. The light at the end of the tunnel that we see has an actual physical explanation.
Let me tell you that I am one that argue a lot with religious people because they simply have some facts wrong. For example the earth is not 6,000 years old. Evolution is a fact but also a theory and there are many holes in the bible which I won't get to because we will be here all day. But the thing is that religion has it purpose and place in life. The purpose of religion is to fullfil your spiritual need. You see humans have many needs. The need to eat, the need to fell safe, the need to be love, the need to sleep, the need to reproduce etc etc. It also has the need of spirituality. Religion should be about that. It should make you question what is your purpose. It should also give you some guide as to how to live a better life. However, it can also misguide you. I for one think that Jesus was a great man. No I don't believe that he reincarnated or that his mom was a virgin. However, his philosofy is great. Love thy neighbor, throw the first stone if you are free from sin. Great stuff. Is golden. I call him the philosopher of love. You should listen to his teaching. Everybody should. However, you should also consider other great people, like budha, Mohamed whomever. They also have good stuff to offer too. Just like everything in life there are good people and bad people. There are truths half truths and also a lot of BS.
Think of it this way, if somebody acuses you of a crime you would want them to show some evidence. I mean something more than he said or james said. You need something more concrete to be admisible in court. This is where religion fail. The evidence is weak. When you put it against what we know today a lot of it fails. Is simply is not the way it is. Not everything but a lot. But you don't have to believe me. Go try it. Go tested it. Go do some research. If it is true then no matter how much you try it the results will always be true. If it isn't then it isn't and thats that. Once you do that then you will see the errors in the bible. But you will also see some truth. For example there is good philosofy. You shalt not fornicate around. Well, in reality there is no mystical explanation for this. The reality is that if you sleep around you are bound to catch something. So, is good advice. Things like that. There is also some historical truth. Archeologist turn to the bibles (not just the Christian bible) to get an idea of where to start digging. They have found a lot of the places mentioned in the bible. However, contrary to what the zealots tell you this alone does not make the bible flawless. There are many books that use real historical sites, places and events and yet they are classified under the fiction section. Often times they find that yes, some of the characters mention existed while other times there is zero evidence of their existance. Other times the story is found to be false or there are many versions of the same story. At a minimum it gives you a historical reference as to what was going on at the time and explains why the belief system came about. Well, to some extent because the stories are one sided. To the winner goes the spoils.
Anyways, if the movie scared you then consider that a good thing. It has open your eyes. That is it gave you a different point of view. It is now up to you to do your own research and through that research come to your own conclusions. I think that if you are really honest you will find both truths and faults on the many views of the same argument. You will also discover a lot about yourself and your faith will be tested. Testing ones faith is a good thing no matter which side you stand on. For example, if you are wrong in your belief then you will correct those errors. As in what if you where following a false prophet or something that really doesn't feel you spiritually. If you take everything by faith and don't question you could be damning your self by following the wrong people. If you are right on your beliefs then great. Now there is no doubt. You see when everything is honky dory anyone can be a believer. It is through trials and tribulations that you find the many truth. Even Jesus himself was tested by the devil when he spent 40 days in the desert. Think about that.
P.S.
I read some of the replies. Some of them where good but some of them where right out ridiculous. FOr example the one where you cannot see someone brains so how do you know is there. SImple, you do an auptosy. Many auptosies have been done and as it turns out surprice surprice people have brains. A similar argument has been given about air. "oh you can't see air yet is there blah blah" well, you can measure it can you. You see science is not about belief. The only thing that science is is a methodology which a person uses to try to get to the truth. In order for something to be valid experiments have to be conduceted. Then the results have to be repeateable. Then the results have to be reviewed by toher people that do not agree with you and after many years then we beging to consider whether the observation is true or not. Is not a I believe that air exist. Is a matter of yes it does exist. You can even capture it and put it in abotle. This is why you can scuba dive. Same with the brain, shoot somebody in the head with a gun and watch how their brains come out. I mean after a couple of people that you shoot at some point you will convince yourself that there is such a thing as a brain. I guarantee you it will be there. The list of ridiculous arguments that the religious zealots give is astounding. Just because something make sense it doesn't make it right. You still have to prove it. IS like saying pixies and fairies exists. Nobody has seen one and we pretty much agree that they are made up. Yet, by the same argument you can choose to believe that they do exist and therefore they do exist. WRONG!!! You need to show the evidence. Belief in something alone doesn't make it true. There are many exaplanations all backed up with fact about how things really work. To be honest ignoring the overwhelming evidence is just being hard headed. Is like if someone throws a punch at your face. You can close your eyes and deny it all you want but if the person has the intention of hitting you no wishfull thinking is going to prevent you from getting hit. So, Idecided to include some links so you can do some reading. Again, don't take my word for it. Do your own research. The point is you have to test it. You have to go out and try it or research it. Most religious folks take the easy way out. Is like saying well, my mama told me santa claus exist therefore it ust be truth even though many expeditions, have proven differently. Also, historical etc etc. There is nothing in the north pole. I'm not saying that everything has been proven or disproven by science but there is a lot that has. So, go take a look at what people say and then take a look at what has been confirmed and you will see by yourslef what is real and what isn't.

Hebrews 11:1 "Faith is believing in what cannot be seen and hoping for what cannot be heard".
We don't know that God exists.
A strong faith is a faith that is consistantly challenged and living.
I believe in God because I refuse to believe that we came from dust....we're so complex, so amazing. This world is so wonderful and it had to have been created via intelligent design. Perfection such as a waterfall or a mountain doesn't just create itself.
