why most of the major religions portrays the almighty as a man.only hinduism portrays a male and a female.the male being nothing without his consort.dont you think a woman better fits the profile for the almighty.she will be like a mother and us her children.what about all the beauty of nature,it more looks like the work of a woman than a man.

Your premise is far too limited. Why would you want a man OR a woman in charge? God is greater than either.

Yea, it does. Why? Because all the major religions were created before the last century. And we only had women's rights in the 1920s onwards. So it goes without saying that MEN created the major religions. In full spirit of male machismo, they couldn't bear bowing to a WOMAN god, only one of their own. This was because everything was controlled by the men last time (tribal chiefs, lalala...), it was only natural that a "God" they worshipped had to be one of their own kind. I'm a Catholic, and I'm sure that if Jesus was female, she'd be crucified/murdered 20years in advance and there'd be no such thing as Christianity. So yeah, it's all about male machismo and how many people could be attracted to the religion at the time. Even in the history of my faith, women resorted to being saints via martyrdom, not evangelisation. Sigh...hopefully a change will be brought about. Guess if God (whether a he or she) ain't bias towards other genders, it doesn't matter cos there will be more women in heaven anyway :D

Well, im a pagan, and a woman, so i associate to the goddess archtype mreo than the male version, i do honor him but when im acctualy praying, im thinking of a woman. In our species the woman brings life and the male protects it, so that to me says that males are the right hand of the goddess.

God
He is a He.
No amount of PC and liberal theology will change that.
