about its design?

On the human level, there's death, rape, torture and war... on the Earthly level there are hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and earthquakes... on the astronomical level there are solar flares, exploding stars and colliding galaxies. I don't call those things too intelligent. It seems more random to me...

And you people say that we have double standards. How many of you have the backbone to see what is really going on in your little two faced world.

When Charles Darwin introduced the theory of evolution through natural selection over 140 years ago, the scientists of the day argued over it fiercely, but the massing evidence from paleontology, genetics, zoology, molecular biology and other fields gradually established evolution's truth beyond reasonable doubt. Today that battle has been won everywhere--except in the public imagination.

Embarrassingly, in the 21st century, in the most scientifically advanced nation the world has ever known, creationists can still persuade politicians, judges and ordinary citizens that evolution is a flawed, poorly supported fantasy. They lobby for creationist ideas such as "intelligent design" to be taught as alternatives to evolution in science classrooms.
Many "antievolutionists" freely admit that they intend for intelligent-design theory to serve as a "wedge" for reopening science classrooms to discussions of God.

Why do you think such dishonesty prevails?
Can education prevail?

How sadistic would you have to be to worship a version of deity (yes, christians only your religion and Islam believe in eternal TORTURE ) that tortures people for an eternity?
Is that what youwould do to your kids when they disobey you, set the house on fire, torture them for an eternity, hoping they will love back?
Is this your idea of LOVE?

If not, why? To better know the whole, you must examine its parts, right?

In your little black book it says.
Genesis Chapter 4 Verse 15

If thou shall not kill, then why is this said by the lord?

And the lord said unto him, Therefore
whosoever slayeth Cain,vengence shall
be taken on him sevenfold. And the lord set
a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should
kill him.

Does anyone see that this is a contradiction or what?
Why is it no you can't see these contradictions?
As I have said before I mean this with respect, I'm not passing judgement.

Examples: Afraid of the wind.

I told myself,

1. That was a car, it just sounded like the wind.

I tricked my mind by,

2. turning on the fan, on high to block out the sound.

I did not want to except what I did not want to except, nor did I want to hear what I did not want to hear.

So I remained afraid of the wind. I could not control the wind, but I could control how I dealt with it.

Until one night, I decided no more. I went out to confront my fear. I stood in the wind, and felt its sting as it blow at me, I heard its truth as it spoke to me. It took out the old air and it brought in fresh understanding.

I faced my fear, and heard the truth. I am no longer afraid of the wind.

Please no radical answers from people who just want to say Islam is a bad religion. I want an honest answer. If there are mentions of stuff like that, I would like the chapter and verses. I have read parts of the Koran and never read anything like that. The reason I ask this question is because Bill Maher said it does say it in there. If it does say kill infidels, in what context does it talk about it?
