God would have to exist, first, to be jealous. You can worship whatever fictitious gods you want. The other fictitious gods won't mind a bit.
Religion is superstition.

Your argument hinges on a particular translation and ignoring both historical and linguistic context. The verses immediately after yours speak of graven images. The phrase that's conventionally rendered as 'before me' is more like 'on my face'. That's metaphorical of course, but Jewish translations tend to translate it more like "You shall not have the gods of others in my presence." Today we assume that gods and graven images are distinct things. That simply was not true back then. Graven images were thought to be gods far more literally than most of us can grasp today. That's reflected in the language. The 'gods' of verse 3 were the 'graven images' of verse 4-5. So no, it doesn't imply what you're suggesting at all. That's an artefact of changes in the way humans conceptualize deity and the often misleading precision of English.

Maybe zeus was the force of God that those people felt. Just a crazy idea.

You were either created or not so there is either a God who created you or not. Forget any names, Zeus, or whatever.
If we assume your Creator exists, you can reasonably assume some characteristics Him. You know right from wrong, you think good is better than bad, love is better than hate, etc. If you were created, you must have received those ideas from your Creator and so on.
That's how to start. Not by trying to decide between many different gods but by looking into yourself.

Exodus 20:3-6 You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I , the Lord you God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.

whatever God you worship is the same to all the other gods. being fictitious entities all of them ,they don't really mind.
however you might encounter serious problems with the followers of the God you forsake, especially if they are the majority in wherever you live.

You can worship a gold-plated pile of dog crap for that matter. In your state of ignorance, God probably loves you, though I'm mystified as to why.
