If there was nothing random, then you would not be able to decipher what is designed from what is not.
You don't see the “anthropic principle” (From the Greek word Anthropos—man). This principle is that the universe in general, and our solar system in particular, appears to have been specially designed for human existence.
Listen to what some scientists have said:
-Murphy and Ellis, “The symmetries and delicate balances we observe in the universe require an extraordinary coherence of conditions and cooperation of laws and effects, suggesting that in some sense they have been purposely designed. That is, they give evidence of intention, realized both in the setting of the law of physics and in the choice of boundary conditions for the universe.”
-F.J. Dyson, “As we look out into the universe and identify the many accidents of physics and astronomy that have worked together to our benefit, it almost seems as if the universe must in some sense have known we were coming.”
-And I like what Philip Ball said, “Our Universe is so unlikely that we must be missing something.”
And look at what we have with this earth in our solar system.
-The right kind of galaxy.
-The right place in the galaxy.
-The right kind of star.
-The right distance from that star.
-The right sized planet.
-The right spin of the planet.
-The proper magnetic field.
-The high composition of carbon.
-The high water content.
-The nitrogen and oxygen atmosphere.
-The size and distance of our moon.
And on and on. The thing you have to realize is, any slight variation in any of these would make the earth uninhabitable as we know it.
As far as the bad things that happen, we believe that is because this is a cursed earth (Genesis 3). As a result of God’s judgment on sin, God has given us a taste of existence without Him—a world full of violence, death, suffering, and disease. Dangerous weather patterns and natural disasters like hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis should remind us that we no longer live in the Garden of Eden. It is a cursed earth and bad things are supposed to happen. Romans 8:20-21 says that the creation was “subjected to futility” by God, and talks about its “slavery to corruption.”

On the human level, there are life, love, pleasure and peace
On the earthly level, there are sunsets, full moons, beautiful valleys and peaceful lakes.
On the astronomical level there are Saturn's young rings, the stars at night sparkling, the warmth of the sun, satellites, space travel and super novas.

I thinks that many women and adult men human beings have been socialized to sense that the human race is stepped forward and 'needed', myself secure, this is an quite human ingredient to do. in spite of the fact that each and every now and then I do in looking myself prepared approximately life and coming to the tip that we are only the equivalent as yet another animal - each and every animal, each and each species is unique, which comprise us. I mean... we can't fly, birds can. I nonetheless lean to think of that everybody is rather greater beneficial precious, now not fairly so, yet we (in comparison to quite a few different species) have developed to human and developed issues on a enormous scale, communique contraptions, boats, planes... we've the flair to love and hate. We even have energy, this is getting to human beings's heads, forget approximately, fights and so on. that's all approximately opposition. In meaning, we are only the equivalent as the different animal. --------- To be trouble-free, only then i began out rambling, and have no concept if i replied your question. yet you have gotten a number of my... Insane suggestions.

I agree--most of those things are random. But the fact that you can understand and discuss that on this level with other beings like you seems to suggest that intelligence was involved in your creation/evolution.

Those things are part of nature and have no intelligence, unlike humans, who are both part of nature and more than nature. Humans posses qualities absent in the rest of nature, as amazing as nature is.
However, you are forgetting to take a systems view. These events are far from random within their system.

When God created the universe, it was perfect, but it's been going downhill since creation because of sin. The good news is that, someday, it will be restored to its former perfection.
I hope you don't miss out on it.

As far as Intelligent Design - study DNA or watch the Discovery Channel or Animal Kingdon - for starters.
As to your human level - you know, God did create a world of no death, no torture, no war; a world of no pain, no tears, no suffering....
A world He has promised to all those who believe in Him and long for His appearing.
Trouble is - you reject Him and His perfect world - ironically, the world you are demanding He provide you RIGHT NOW.
Typical atheist logic.

Well, the "intelligent design" part refers more to complexity and the impossibility of something complex to NOT be designed.
Or something like that.
