Will they be laughing at us?
How sadistic would you have to be to worship a version of deity (yes, christians only your religion and Islam believe in eternal TORTURE ) that tortures people for an eternity?
Is that what youwould do to your kids when they disobey you, set the house on fire, torture them for an eternity, hoping they will love back?
Is this your idea of LOVE?

I guess they will be mocking at us. Sick, isn't it? Granted that some very cruel people, who have made life miserable for others, may deserve a lengthy period of punishment. We may even grant, for the sake of argument, that some deserve thousands of years of intense punishment. But can anyone literally merit unending punishment? It is natural to suppose that each sin a person commits merits some finite degree of punishment. To take an analogy from the legal sphere, we normally suppose that a burglar deserves a few years of imprisonment, and that it would be unjust to imprison him indefinitely. However, to put the point crudely, if each sin an unrepentant sinner commits adds a finite number of years in hell, the total number of years in hell will be finite (assuming the number of sins is finite).

As a Christian myself for 37 yrs. I do not believe in a eternal torment, I do believe that some will be tortured more then others, & I also don't believe hell is eternal, Now wait a minute Christians, I am reading the same bible you are, But in 37 yrs. I have learned something, Turn to Revelation Chapter 20, read the whole chapter, But I will point out the last few verses, 14: And Death & HELL were cast into the lake of fire, this is the second DEATH, If hell or even the lake of fire were eternal. then these people will also have eternal life, there is only one form of eternal life, & that is through Jesus Christ & Every true believer being sealed by the Holy Ghost. And No we will not be laughing at those in torment.

Hi.Why do you say the non-Christians will be tortured in Hell for all eternity ? Is this what some Christians are saying because they are quoting from the Bible. I am a Catholic and i have never read the Bible. There are over 50 different translations in English alone, and besides, i have more important things to do.The way some Christians are carrying on they could find themselves "down below" with all the other evil souls.God does not put labels on people .People do that. God loves every single person He ever created. God would like us to do the same.I try to love everyone no mater what they call themselves or what they have done.It is no easy task but we have to try.It is the only way for this world to have peace. and to be reconciled to Christ.

No we will mourn, and worship the Lord forever, amen what a day that will be (Songs and Hymns, Sword of the Lord publishers). Anyway christianity is not the only religion that teaches that so get your facts straight putz. Catholic preaches it except they like to throw in something called purgatory (blasphemy). This topic is so ever re-occuring, my question to you is that if you know that you will go to hell if you don't trust in the Lord. Than why on earth wouldn't you trust in him so you wouldn't have to suffer? God showed his love when He sent his only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins. How many of you would do that? none. He loves us so much that He doesn't want us to go to hell, but you chose your own destiny. Yes you are born with sin because of adam and eve but you atleast have the choice to ask forgiveness. If we got what we deserved than we would all burn in hell so quit your little ranting and raving it is getting annoying.

Whoa! I say, WHOA! permit's decelerate long sufficient to disentangle the Biblical, orthodox view of Hell from the comic strip version. Hell isn't the devil's abode or the devil's workplace. Hell is the devil's punishment, his very final trip spot. Jesus even refers to it as "the everlasting hearth arranged for the devil and his angels" (Matthew 25:40-one, NIV). as nicely, dude, i've got self assurance that we (and the devil) have accomplished each little thing to God that is accomplished--whipped Him, spit on Him, tortured Him, and killed Him by proxy in His Son. Orthodox doctrine even states that Jesus went to Hell (the Apostles Creed. c. f. a million Peter 3:19-20). that is not any longer His fault Hell could no longer carry Him. Do you fairly need to do extra to Him? that is not any longer a rhetorical question. in spite of type the everlasting hearth takes, the souls who refused to allow God serve them will "roast" WITH the devil, no longer be roasted by him. Peace. .

They have not read their Bibles well enough. According to the Bible, Heaven is hotter than hell.

-----------------

Temperature of Heaven
The temperature of heaven can be rather accurately computed. Our authority is the Bible, Isaiah 30:26 reads, “Moreover, the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold as the light of seven days.”
Thus, heaven receives from the moon as much radiation as the earth does from the sun, and in addition seven times seven (49) times as much as the earth does from the sun, or fifty times in all. The light we receive from the moon is one ten-thousandth of the light we receive from the sun, so we can ignore that. With these data we can compute the temperature of heaven: The radiation falling on heaven will heat it to the point where the heat lost by radiation is just equal to the heat received by radiation. In other words, heaven loses fifty times as much heat as the earth by radiation. Using the Stefan-Boltzmann fourth power law for radiation:
(H/E)4 = 50
where E is the absolute temperature of the earth, 300K (273+27). This gives H the absolute temperature of heaven, as 798K (525°C or 977°F).

Temperature of Hell
The exact temperature of hell cannot be computed but it must be less than 444.6°C, the temperature at which brimstone or sulfur changes from a liquid to a gas. As stated in Revelations 21:8: “But the fearful and unbelieving… shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.” A lake of molten brimstone [sulfur] means that its temperature must be at or below the boiling point, which is 444.6°C. (Above that point, it would be a vapor, not a lake.)
We have then, temperature of heaven, 525°C (977°F) and the temperature of hell, less than or equal to (=>) 444.6°C (>=832.28°F). Therefore heaven is hotter than hell.

We will enjoy eternal life. The love you mentioned is me telling you that you don't have to choose hell. There is a free gift waiting for you. That gift is Jesus Christ Eph 2:8-9. He paid the debt of your sins and if you receive him you will have everlasting life in heaven. God doesn't send you to hell you choose it by rejecting that free gift. I know in the fast food American world we live in you say"what only 2 choices?" Well you get to live you life any way you want and in the end we all die (hmm one choice there). In America we get cremated or buried (hmm only 2 choices) and your soul goes where you chose. So reach out, that what Jesus is offering, what he paid for with his precious blood and enjoy life here on earth and not suffer the torments of hell. And for the one that said hell is temporary, the same Chapter Rev 20 states it is forever and ever. vs. 10.

They won't be doing anything. You will be dead, buried, and staying 6 feet under in your grave, (as will your soul) and so will Christians. The holy than thou thing is SO old. They don't have an idea of love. The only person they know how to love is "God". -> A person they've never met and only heard/read obsurd exaggerated stories about.

You must understand this: God has grown up without a family, so
he has some relationship problem.
His love is the abusive love, just like if a guy beats up a girl telling her: "don't you understandI love you? Why do you make me do that? Have you any Idea of how much it hurts me inside?"

We better face it: God exists and he is a psycho

A fiery hell is not a Biblical teaching.....

Eccl. 9:5, 10: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all . . . All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol,* the place to which you are going.” (If they are conscious of nothing, they obviously feel no pain.)

Ps. 146:4: “His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts* do perish.”
