I don't know. I'm just confused. Because people hate muslims so much now, because of Al-Qaeda, Bin Laden, and the terrorist attacks. So why do we have the beat for it? Why are head scarfs being banned around the world? Why are we being accused all because people who share the same religion aren't setting a good example of a muslim?

Did Catholics go through this ever since the Holocaust, since Hitler was catholic?

What's with all the oppression...?

Jesus talks about being born again being a requirement to seeing the Kingdom of God and Paul said that Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.

Seems to fly in the face of the doctrine of being "born again" something attainable in the flesh and blood.

Since the apostles NEVER once wrote the phrase "born again", did they ever think this was attainable in the flesh and blood?

Or rather that being "born again" was as simple as being resurrected in the new spiritual body?

So, I definitely have been getting emails from an "atheist" about how I'm retarded because I capitalize "atheist"...

So what's the big deal? I capitalize Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, etc....although Atheists are defined by a lack of faith in a God why shouldn't it be capitalized too?

I have been told that I don't follow the Jesus of the Bible, that I follow a different one. What makes you say that? Can you prove that?

Does it mean that you have fallen away from God in a blaze of utter disregard and out of being rebellious or does it mean to make a mistake which in turn leads from one falling out of God's good graces? Or does it mean something else altogether?

I am doing a research project on the differences between Eastern and Western philosophy and am having trouble finding good websites and sources that are informational and easy to understand. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be a big help. I have tried googling it but I really need someone to answer who knows some reliable sites and who has researched the topic before to answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well, I believe that God created us, and animals, to live in this world, and to thrive. That also goes for animals. I think it's okay to eat them, but I don't really support eating it if it was inhumanely slaughtered. I don't think they were put in this world by God just to beaten. They need some rights as well, right? People tell me I'm weird for not eating meat, but it's for my beliefs.

Did God really create cows and chicken just to be slaughtered for our nourishment?

I don't think so. I think he made us all to thrive. I think we can eat meat, but we must not forget that God also made vegetables and fruits.

Is eating a dog no worse than eating a cow?

But the overall question is, do I really need to eat meat constantly? Is that what God wants us to do? Shouldn't we interconnect with everything around us in order to live a moral life?

And if I choose to delete cow from my diet, is that ethical in religious terms, or just Godly and moral terms?

There was a question recently asked in this section which pertained to the NBC show "To Catch A Predator". I got me thinking... I wonder what everyone considers the "right time" to start consenting to sex. So... what age? Or should there even be a legal "age of consent"?

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,the evidence of things not seen.

Dear God:
I know that I'm a sinner. I deserve Hell. But You sent Jesus to die for my sins. I believe that He died and rose again. I ask you now to forgive my sins, once an for all. I now receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Personal Saviour. Please come into my heart and save me, Help me to know I am saved and live for You, the rest of my life. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

Many other prominent scientists who are evolutionists admit that evolution theory is not really science. For instance, in the introduction to the 1971 edition of Darwin's Origin of Species, Dr. L. Harrison Matthews made the amazingly frank admission that evolution was faith, not science:

The fact of evolution is the backbone of biology, and biology is thus in the peculiar position of being a science founded on an unproved theory -- is it then a science or faith? Belief in the theory of evolution is thus exactly parallel to belief in special creation -- both are concepts which believers know to be true but neither, up to the present, has been capable of proof.
