How a Christian should be and what should he believe [basically]:
• That we believe in the Trinity as God being the father, Jesus Christ being his Son who came to Earth through the will of God, and the holy Spirit; God, the father being the head of the trinity.
• That life after death exists.
• That Judgment day exists and God shall judge us all equally on basis of our deeds and faith.
• Jesus Christ came to Earth through holy means from God and born to Earth through Virgin Mary. He came here as the Son, as a priest and as a Prophet to preach the good news, to heal the ailing, and to die for us to purify us from Sin.
• That Jesus died for us through crucifixion on Friday got buried on Saturday and rose from death on Sunday.
• That Jesus is not a God, neither a biological Son of God but a Holy Son of God, who is considered a Son of God for being directly sent to Earth from God, and having no biological father.
• That Jesus is the last prophet and no prophet was predicted to come after him.
• That God has no biological Children and no partners. He alone created the Universe and the natural beings.
• That the Laws of Moses from God given to us through bible are the laws to be followed.
• Those keeping the Ten Commandments of God are the true Christians.
• That every true Christian accepts Jesus as our Savior, and through faith, good deeds and keeping the laws, we are promised the eternal Paradise regardless of any particular denomination.
• That anything considered unclean by the bible, is always unclean.
• That violence is not a concept of Christianity, but forgiveness and patience.
• That we are not allowed to add, remove or edit anything on the bible.
• That Christianity is not about joining a church, but about your faith and the deeds you do.
• That we aren’t allowed to make ourselves any idols or images of anything on Earth, heavens or the water. That a Christian should be aware that if there is an image depicted to Lord Jesus, Mother Mary, or any prophet/angel, etc. is not the TRUE image. It is but to symbolize a Christian land, home or a Church, etc.
• That the cross signifies Christianity and is meant to protect us.
• That polygamy, adultery, rape, homosexual, sexual relations with animals and incest is completely forbidden.
• That woman should dress up by the bible (appropriately) and should behave decently.
• That we are all Children of God and not the slaves of God.

My mom only had one eye. I hated her... she was such an embarrassment.
She cooked for students & teachers to support the family.
There was this one day during elementary school where my mom came to
say hello to me.
I was so embarrassed.
How could she do this to me?
I ignored her, threw her a hateful look and ran out.
The next day at school one of my classmates said, "EEEE, your mom only has one eye!"
I wanted to bury myself.
I also wanted my mom to just disappear.
I confronted her that day and said, " If you're only goanna make
me a
laughing stock, why don't you just die?"

My mom did not respond...
I didn't even stop to think for a second about what I had said,
because
I was full of anger.
I was oblivious to her feelings.
I wanted out of that house

I ask this because its a huge part of study for my religion and I have noticed many Christians, especially younger ones have no knowledge of the history of thier faith, the good AND the bad. Is that important to you?
And no I'm not being a smart ***. I'm really curious. I see denials of things that Christians did. I have never heard "Yes it happened it's a part of our past. In the end we learned from the mistakes." All I ever hear is "That wasn't us that was the ________"
Do you not honestly know the history of the church?

If you say my Self is nothing more than electrical impulses in the brain, then I say that the will of the Self is what causes this.

What causes the will of the Self?

You.

You are that cause.

And since the Self, (YOU) are outside of your body, you are not tangently connected to the physical world. You are immortal.

Preferably character transformation, like Abram changing over to Abraham. Or Doubting Thomas doesn't believe in Jesus' wounds until he touches them, then he has no more doubts.

Examples like that would be much appreciated!

I also ask that if you are just going to waste my time, get a fukking life. Nobody wants to read hate messages like "The Bible is garbage" and shitt. I am just asking this question for help. Also, please don't tell me to do my own homework. You don't know anything about me, yet you judge me? Back the **** off.

I've read the bible every day, go to church almost every sunday, I fast every 1st sunday and am beginning to fast EVERY sunday so that God will help me. I try to be the best person that I can. But I haven't noticed any change in my life, the one thing I've been praying for now seems pointless. I don't know what to do. I feel alone.

almost every catholic i have talked to thinks that the pope is god, which if they believe that then aren't they commiting a sin? Cristians believe that worshiping false gods is wrong. Catholics are Christians and they do worship the pope like he is a deity. So wouldn't all Catholics be committing a sin by worshiping a false god like the pope?

Why has God not written in the bible about space ever, why is the bible limited to earth???
I have not read the bible btw, so if there is any Christians out there that can refer to any passages about space then I would be very interested to read them, but it just seems strange that for such a big thing I have never heard of God referring to it

Caucasians have committed a lot of atrocities when it comes to raping other countries and stealing their people, but in the end it all came out good. If it wasn't for the noble conquistadors, all of South America would worship their pagan Gods. Spaniards came in and changed their lives to Jesus. Look how devoted they are.

Now Africans don't talk about Jesus. They're for the most part.....Islamic. They worship a different God. If it wasn't for us inviting them to our country, they'd all end up in Hell, but since we took a few lucky ones to the USA. They're saved. And again, They are some of the most devout followers of Jesus.

Caucasians have taken peoples lives and changed them and it all ended up for the better. Why not at least show a little appreciation to us? We ultimately did what was best for you in the end.

Sorry if some of you misinterpreted this and got offended., but these are the FACTS.

Why do atheists deny that God is a loving a just God? The Old Testament is proof of God's love and justice, silly atheists! God is just! He gives us free will, but that doesn't mean he won't kill people for using it! The story of the flood demonstrates perfectly that God is completely just. God saw how violent his HEATHEN creations were. Obviously the ONLY solution was to kill them all in a flood. God was forced to kill babies and animals because that is what people get for using their free will any other way than the way God approves of!
But this just shows God's unconditional love for us. You see, when it says that God smites unbelievers, it means LOVINGLY smites! He loves all of us and he is just, which is why he gives us free will, and will ensure that everyone who does not use it to worship him will get exactly what they deserve. An eternity of agony burning in hell. Yes, God is just. Why can't atheists understand this?

and if all you can come up with is god, then you truly have no clue of what unconditional love really is.

Because I don't really know what it is. I don't know how to get guidance to find it, but something in my bones tell me that I am suppose to be much more than what I am now. I am 22 and just starting out but as I look over my life, I strongly feel that God has huge plan for me. However, sometimes I feel like I am nobody, I make mistakes and everyone else is so much more advanced than me. Nothing famous or anything but I just think i have something in store and I think it has to do with my purpose. How do I get that to come out of me or how do I find it?
