If you say my Self is nothing more than electrical impulses in the brain, then I say that the will of the Self is what causes this.

What causes the will of the Self?

You.

You are that cause.

And since the Self, (YOU) are outside of your body, you are not tangently connected to the physical world. You are immortal.

Understand too that just because we name a phonema electric impulses, or call a brain a brain, doesn't make it any smaller of a feat. Nothing wrong with being just electra pulses anyways, since the very nature of electricity is right now kind of beyond us. Besides that its abilities and its connections to matter and energy is sort of beyond us. So even being electrical impulses can prove what you say. ITs just that people down play words to much, when if you do your research you'll see that sciences isn't a perfect defination of anything, its just a gathering of facts that right now we can't prove false. So with that said, even by its very, dry, generic definition, WE ARE some quite amazing happenstates of nature. Even if all we are is electrical impluses. Just because your teacher teaches it dry, doesn't mean it is in reality, don't remember those long church sermonons? Even god can be made to sound small given the way he is talked about....
