That would make sense.

God has to create the universe, because God is completely alone. Loneliness has driven God insane, so God imagined to be mortal and fancied some strange world right out from a divine mind.

God is in pain, so the world created is full of suffering. But God already can't stand it's own pain, so he shuts everything out by pretending to be mortal.

How can you really know the world around you is real if you're doing your best -not- to know?

So you go about a mortal life, all scared of your own end, because if you die, the universe ceases to be. But you don't want that... you don't want to die; you just don't want to be alone.

You'll never admit you're God, you don't even want to know you are!

But you can't deny it forever, can you, Oh Creator?

I believe Jesus' died for my sins, and that if it wasn't for His sacrifice, I would not have access to the Father to hear my prayers.

So, can I pray to the Father without having Jesus in mind every time?

if you get divorced, but then have sex with your ex wife/husband, this surely can't be considered a sin right? as long as neither remarries, that is.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit

You become what you think about

Keep away from small people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around

Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should have accomplished with your ability

I don't measure a man's success by how high he climbs but how high he bounces when he hits bottom."

I am a slow walker, but I never walk backwards

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be

Discovery consists in seeing what everybody has seen and thinking what nobody has thought

Sometimes we stare so long at a door that is closing, that we see too late the one that is open."

To travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive, and the true success is to labor

the no prayer in schools issue? It is merely a separation of church and state, disallowing and authority figure within the school - principal, teachers, superintendent, school counselor - any of the staff - from leading a public prayer that the entire school is required to participate in. It keeps teachers - the ultimate authority to some kids - from using their religion as a tool and a weapon against students.

NOWHERE in that law does it say that you as a student, a teacher, an administrator or any school employee is NOT allowed to pray while on school premises. People pray in school all the time - teachers pray the kids will behave, students pray they will pass the test, both offer prayer when sitting down at their lunch. No problem with that. No one will throw a fit or kick you out for doing that.

Why is this law so twisted and misunderstood?

Please read the law before you comment - http://www.ed.gov/Speeches/04-1995/prayer.html

Paul teaches that there are many spiritual gifts, and that they are all important. He teaches that charity is more important than any other gift or quality. He teaches that spiritual gifts should be used for the benefit of all.

Please think deep about this, and suggest your reasons why charity is the most important gift. Compared to what?

Thank you for any thoughts you can share!

shouldn't we then have to fertilize all egg that women ever produce (e.g. through artificial insemination)? By NOT having sex everyday, aren't we depriving those beautiful ova from being fertilized and thus letting them DIE? If we outlaw birth control, don't we then have to make sure that women have as many kids as possible?

Osama Bin Laden wants America to convert to Islam. Funny how he and his psychopathic followers have yet to demonstrate anything remotely similar to Islam. What is he talking about and does he even take himself seriously? I personally don't believe he cares one bit about Islam and doubt he considers himself a Muslim. What do you think?
