Why don't christians just pray for all of their needs. The health of their children, ho needs doctors? Cut down the grocery bill, just pray for magic manna bread. Maybe god will fuel their cars nad do general repairs.

I do both. . . not praying for the car to start. .but so that I can get out of a dangerous situation.

Three nuns ran out of gas. walked to gas station but had no can but the clerk found an old bed pan so they filled it up with gas and walked to car. Were pouring it in tank and and two old guys watching. One says to the other if that car starts I am converting to Catholic.

you can do both. i do whatever i can to better myself in life. just because i believe in God doesnt mean im gonna stop going to school and pray that God gives me enough money to live.
God helps those who help themselves. i especially like to pray over things i have no control over.
