does this mean the 10 commandments are no longer & haven't been in effect since he died?? Is there such a thing as sin anymore or has the word 'sin' been replaced with the word 'crime'
And when the supposed 2nd coming of Christ happens---do you think he is going to die too---and just what would he die for

I know that every answer will be speculation because we cannot be sure, but I am curious as to what others think Leviathan was.

"Let those who curse days curse that day. Let them prepare to wake up the sea monster Leviathan" (Job 3:8 NCV)

"God, you have been our king for a long time. You bring salvation to the earth. You split open the sea by your power and broke the heads of the sea monster. You smashed the heads of the monster Leviathan and gave him to the desert creatures as food." (Psalms 74:12-14 NCV)

"Lord, you have made many things; with your wisdom you made them all. The earth is full of your riches. Look at the sea, so big and wide, with creatures large and small that cannot be counted. Ships travel over the ocean, and there is the sea monster Leviathan, which you made to play there." (Psalms 104:24 - 26 NCV)

OK, I'm a Christian, a very strong one but only 14, so I need some advice. I understand that homosexuality is a sin, and I'm not passive about it because everyone else is, but I don't go around hating them. I just believe it's wrong. About a month ago, I met this really cool, nice, all around good guy. So we've been hanging out for a while, and about two days ago he told me that he's bi. Now I don't hate this kid or even dislike him still, he's still my friend. But I can't help but feel the more I talk to him acting like I don't feel anything about homosexuality that I'm almost accepting it like the rest of the world is. I want to talk to him about what I think of homosexuality, but I really don't want to lose him as a friend because he's a really cool guy, but if I tell him I'm against it I'm afraid he'll think I'm the same as everyone else and he'll think I hate him. What should I do and how should I do it because I really want him to know my views?

After all, it's only because of your ability to follow the rules of your parents when you were a child that you are alive today.

Why is the concept of a loving God who gives rules to live by for our own health & safety such a hard concept to grasp & follow?

Why do we find that such a hard & demanding request?

"If we sin deliberately after receiving knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains sacrifice for sins but a fearful prospect of judgment and a flaming fire that is going to consume the adversaries." - Heb 10:26

"But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved." - Matt 24:13

"See, then, the kindness and severity of God: severity toward those who fell, but God's kindness to you, provided you remain in his kindness; otherwise you too will be cut off." - Rom 11:22

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, 10 but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven." - Matt 7:21

"No, I drive my body and train it, for fear that, after having preached to others, I myself should be disqualified. - 1 Cor 9:27

"So then, my beloved, obedient as you have always been, not only when I am present but all the more now when I am absent, work out your salvation with fear and trembling." - Phil 2:12

Many people only give criticizing answers on YA, especially on R&S. Criticizing is good, but there is a difference between having a critical mind and having a criticizing mind.
We can go nowhere without having opposite opinions, but opinions that focus on side issues or that ar just a bit too tangential to the core of the Q don´t help.
I have found that most criticizing minds don´t ask Qs, they just answer and usually sail under Groucho´s "whatever it is I´m against it" flag.
Others identify the core and erode the pillars with jeers, dubious facts, sacred verses or outrage.
There are fanatics that report anything they judge dangerous, not necessarily offensive.
All in all, it´s a true representation of the state of society, with bullies, do-gooders, hypocrites, intellectuals, loonies, self righteous, scholars and ignorants...
I weep at the state of the world. YA demonstrates that wisdom has fled our world and I wonder if I´ll see it back in my lifetime.
Your thoughts whoever you are?

I believe in the concept of free will...at least, I'd like to. If God knows everything, from the moment we created the earth to the day the earth diminishes, then he obviously knows what will happen to each and every individual he created before we were ever born. With that said, how do we still have free will if our lives were already 'planned' out beforehand? How do we still have that free will if we are doing what we were intended to do from the very beginning?

I want to know how they should uphold themselves here in Y/A R&S. Is it right to show anger and animosity toward another's belief? Is it right for Christian's to manipulate other's to be cruel to another? People that proclaim they are Christian's but yet behave like this in a open forum is sending what kind of message to seeker's and non believer's? Christian's that are real lover's of Jesus, what would your advice be to your brother's and sister's that behave Un-Christ like.
I thought a seeker could find a religion faith group here, but I don't think so! Non-believer's sure must come here in R&S for good laughs.
I have to add that I am no member of any church, but have been reading and studying the Bible on my own. I am not Baptized yet. I did make up my mind to join a Bible Study. I am a learner still in the flesh and trying to improve myself.

Why do so many people reject Him? He just wants to Love and save us! He wants to save us from eternal punishment-all we have to do is believe, and we're saved and forever loved!
And i MEAN forever! like, zillions and zillions of years! not just like 10 years, or 15... zillions!
