but is not blamed for tragedies? If all things go according to God's plan, shouldn't God take credit for both?

Just wondering - am I right in thinking that in Christian (or maybe just Catholic?) theology we are all to be called forth from our graves on the Day of Judgement to be judged (obviously!) and only then are we sent either to heaven or hell? So where do we go in the meantime? And if this is so, presumably if you try to comfort someone by saying their loved one has gone to heaven, are you actually telling a porky pie? (porky pie = lie - helpful translation for non-Cockneys!!)

See the light
It's really bright
Jesus' light
Through the night
He leads the fight
Against Satan
And masturbation
He gives us salvation
And all the sin
In the world
Come to Jesus
He wants to please us
He doesn't tease us
He really needs us
And we need Him too
Jesus is free of sin
But the rest of us are sinners
So we need Him
To save us
You can't save yourself
And neither can anyone else
Jesus gives you the gift
The free gift of salvation
I am saved
And you can be too
Come to Jesus
Don't be a Jew
The other Gods are false
Don't be fooled by Satan
There is only one true God
And that is the God I worship
Jesus died for our sins
Hate the sin not the sinner
Pray to Jesus before dinner
Jesus is a winner
I am not a beginner
I've been with Jesus all my life
I love Him and He loves me
He loves me and my whole family
Repent of your sins
Turn to Jesus
And stop living in sin
Don't sin again
Jesus loves you
Amen

ok, so I got an Ouija board, but I didnt really think too much of it because, well, come on...it was made by Parker Bros....so, yesterday, a friend & I used it in the park...& the thing actually worked! Now what am I supposed to do? I mean, if I bring it in the house is it going to bring anything in with it? Does what it said mean what HAS to/WILL happen or is it just suggestions? Is it wrong to ask the same question more than once, not because I didnt like the answer but because the answer didnt make any sense? Why on earth would it tell me "Yes No 4" and then "h0y No 4", some word spelled "Bhinniln"(but when I asked about it the thing said no)? Is it ever wrong...or confused maybe? How does a Ouija board work anyway?

So, if you know, let me know please. And please, if youre just going to say something along the lines of "Ouija is just a toy" "those things are a hoax" or "quit messing around with the devil", please...just DONT even bother. Thanks so much.

I can't stop laughing. I knew exactly what would happen when I posted that comment. It's just too funny. Its a power trip for me. Anyway, when I post questions, the most I might do (if at all) is put a thumbs down. You could say anything you wanted to me, that is what Y!A is for. I want to hear from everyone - not just people who agree with me. I mean, what would be the point of posting a question if you can't take differing opinions on a topic?

Can anyone establish a clear distinction between the two based on process rather than scale?

If he is to be considered responsible for good things, I feel it is only fair he be considered responsible for bad things, as well.

What do you think of this?

There seems to be much interest in proving or disproving that god exists but what are we actually trying to prove. Most people have their own idea of what god is and when asked say that he is the Alpha and the Omega, the be all and end all, God is love, god is power God is the creator the father, the son, the holy ghost...

Does anyone have a definition for god that we can actually use to prove/disprove it's existence?
