Or anything out of the ordinary at all? I'm just curious is all. I've never met an Atheist who believes in any of those things. If so would you like to share? Thanks in advance.

Doubt I'll get any thumbs up for it but here's go...I believe in Aliens, (and to that extent U.F.O.'s as Ufologists make them out to be...alien spacecraft) Also, Bigfoot is a yes, gnomes not so much (but the Irish Sidhe, maybe...) Leprechauns....other than really lucky midgets...no.

When I was about 6 years old, I asked my Late Dad "Dad, is there really any such thing as magic?". He replied that he was sorry, but no. It would be nice, but no.

He was right - but it would still be nice if it was real!

I have faith in the neutrality of the universe, that there is positive and negative in all things and that, if you're having a bad time, it will pass. Also, if you are having a good time, you should enjoy it while it's happening, cos that, too, will pass.

I believe that there are other intelligent beings in the Universe, but not close enough to us to make a visit likely or even possible.

If it can't be proven, it doesn't exist. Sorry!

I'm an atheist (agnostic actually) who has a deep belief in Afghanistan.... I've never been to Afghanistan, nor do I know anybody who's been there, but I do deeply believe that it IS there. And if I were to go there I believe I'd arrive at a place people would call Afghanistan - that it is a real place. Interesting how belief works, isn't it? It would be interesting to talk to somebody who swore he didn't believe in god but figured UFO's were hovering near.

In my opinion, to think that we would be the only form of intelligent life in this or any other galaxy is very short-sighted. The requirements that fed our version of life have a great chance of being naturally created in other solar systems. What we have come to know as the building blocks of life, (carbon, oxygen, etc...) are in abundance in nearly all, if not all galaxies. Who is to say that all ife requires these blocks, simply because our world does.

In saying this, I am an Atheist, and NO I still do not believe in the self-suicide of mankind's redemption through some mythological character.

I had a friend in college who was an atheist, who swore by the loch ness monster. When I was younger and an atheist I really believed in UFOs. Funny thing is when I became a christian I still believed there was life out there somewhere but not necessarily space traveling life.

I don't 'believe' there is a bigfoot, or aliens. But I don't have any reason to believe they don't exist, there may be, it's entirely possible. But I won't say "I know for certain there is life on other planets", that's rediculous, I can have no way of knowing that, unless I've seen them personally.

If it can exist in the psysical universe, I see no reason to rule it out.

I don't know about UFOs which just mean unidentifiable flying objects but I do believe there has to be life on other planets. With billions of planets out there, how can there not be?

i believe in ufos because all that means is an unidentified flying object, there have been unidentified things in the air so i believe in it. whether i believe they are aliens is another matter.
i dont believe or disbelieve in aliens because i don't know enough about it to have an opinion.
bigfoot, again i don't know enough to have an opinion. i've never been interested enough to investigate it.

Francis Crick, one of the guys who "discovered" DNA, started believing in the possibility of aliens. As far as I know, he was an atheist.
