If you go to the Skeptics Annotated Bible, for nearly all of the contradiction, absurdities, etc., they link to one or more apologist website that attempts to explain it away.

There are no contradictions only confusion. Bible passages may seem sensless if you are not really trying to understand them. I do not know enough but the bible answer man clears things up when I don't understand.
