Bahai, Quakers, Jains, Amish, Buddhists, Unitarian Universalists and atheists. These are also the religions / belief systems that do not openly call for converting or "witnessing" to other people. Coincidence? I think not.

kclightman's a twit. Taoism was a root cause of civil war in China for centuries. Buddhism is part of what calmed them down. (that and the Mongolians!)

All the people who said Quakers, although they have never started a military engagment, they had a war on witches. The Slaem witch trials were done by Quakers.

haha, you're being very vague. religion doesn't start war, people start war. religion is an excuse. as long as the world exist there will be war. nothing to stop it.

i think you should ask is there any religion older than 500 years that hasn't started a war because there are plenty that are 200-50 years old that haven't

I'd point to a lot of the Native American 'religions', most of them were VERY peaceful and respectful. Of course Christianity fixed all that huh?
