there's a part where one of the kids is watching some anti-evolution propaganda, and it's set up to look like a newscast, and the news anchor is a dinosaur. if the world is only 6000 years old, why do they have dinosaurs in their propaganda?

Dear malaclypse,
Just want to say that Jesus Camp is not a very good representation of what most main-stream Christian churches believe.
I find the beliefs of the founders of that group quite liberal and strange and not in accordance with the Bible (they take a lot of verses out of context). Not sure why they have dinosaurs in their newscast- i guess i found other parts of their film more disturbing.

They believe that dinosaurs lived less than 6000 years ago. (Or at least...they teach their kids that dinosaurs lived less than 6000 years ago. I think that even they know that that's total B/S, but they're so afraid of being sent straight to Hell if they acknowledge anything that they perceive to go against their book, that they'll claim to believe it.)
