I can't stop laughing. I knew exactly what would happen when I posted that comment. It's just too funny. Its a power trip for me. Anyway, when I post questions, the most I might do (if at all) is put a thumbs down. You could say anything you wanted to me, that is what Y!A is for. I want to hear from everyone - not just people who agree with me. I mean, what would be the point of posting a question if you can't take differing opinions on a topic?

I think its absolutely weird, answers that are outrageous dont even get blooming reported! I got reported for asking people if they had signed the Harry Potter Petition.. Ya know people I aint exactly promoting witchcraft! But its true Y/A is for that you have to hear from anyone even if you dont like it, its their opinion..

Never been reported, but YA is supposed to be about knowledgeable answers, not opinions...This is why people don't get along....If you feel the need to complain about something, why not use Rant and Rave on Craigslist instead? It's tough to get banned from there. And lost of other "free speech" forums....There are dozens out there.
Opinions, not facts are the problem with YA right now....

Yes, I have those who disagree with what I have to say too though....But I'm used to that, always had those around in my life....

I find it annoying when I craft an answer with several citations and someone has it deleted because they don't like the content. It's not like I worry about the points or account suspension since I win the appeals, but why give good answers if content will be deleted?
Yes, it's nice to know that my position could only be attacked by deceitful means, but that sense of power is a weak consolation.

Yeah maybe a thumbs down. I dont mind mind someone disagreeing, Ive always loved a good debate but I dont like someone getting their 2 points by being hateful and nasty for no good reason, some of these ongoing debates are funny, but I admit Ive got to learn to overlook the asses especially when it comes to "my" questions, lol.

I agree, anyone can disagree, I do not even report the ones who are down right insulting, I sometimes even give them a thumbs up for making me laugh at myself because of how my questions been misinterpreted, I guess it goes along the lines of:
Mommy, mommy the bad people are gonna get me, can you check my closet and please leave the light on, wouldn't want the mean words get me in the dark.

Sometimes I do laugh. But I didn't laugh when they deleted my account the very day I reached Level 5 over nonsense from a week and a half prior. It was soooo stupid.
Now I have a backup account ready just in case.
Do you know I got a violation for calling someone a fruitcake? Go figure.
