God caused an earthquake in Peru? I thought that was from earth plates shifting. I will pray for their families to somehow find comfort.

OH? You my friend must be one of the many bitter and ignorant fools, who blames God for everything that goes wrong in this world.

And who are we to question ANY act of God or Mother Nature!? First we must understand, and be open-minded, be faithful, before we even begin to question anything.

Should we praise him!? YES! We should be thankful for those who have a kind and unselfish heart when it comes to helping those in need, especially during times of crisis. We should praise him for everything we have, and be better people... because you see....

We don't know when our time here on earth will end. Whether we are Christian, Agnostic, Atheist, or of any faith... should we not then live a better life, instead of wasting away!?

I do not practise and I do not preach but I do believe in god (not a churchy tho!) And somehow I don't think god caused it, Lol. Not really a laughing matter tho ey, It is a very serious thing to say, that god killed hundreds of people. I think it was a freak, natural disaster.

God didn't cause the earthquake. heated sliding rock and earth caused the earthquake.

Honestly, That was natural selection, the earth and environment will natural kill off things and humans to keep the cycle going.

Praise who you want, but i wouldn't be to keen to someone if they shook up my world and killed my neighbors and family,,,Thats not a very nice thing to be responsible for

Most people make the mistake of saying it is GOd that causes these things. It might be a God of another religion but it is not the God of the bible. We are told in geneses that because Man Kind has sinned the whole of Creation will suffer because of it. Because the creation and our self's are one, both suffer from sin. The reason things like this happen is because of sin not God. See everything is caught up in sin the whole universe, it is our free will to Chose sin and these things show us we need God, they show us that without him everything falls apart. GOd does allow it to happen yes, but this does not mean he wants it to happen, he allows it to happen because he gave us free will, our will choses sin and everything is effected by it. THis is why Jesus died for sin, he took the punishment for us so that we by trusting in him will be set free from pain one day. He payed the price of death so we could be free. God is not to blame we are. If you could live a perfect life without sin then this would not happen, but the problem is no one can, so it continues. One day it will stop, this is a promise from God himself though Jesus Christ. For now look for God in the actions and good deeds that happen during this hard time for those people he will be there to comfort them and I will pray for them.

Have a good day.

God did not cause the earthquake
(James 1:13) . . .When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. . .

Sorry, I won't feed your confusion. It's actually the Phoenix Rising. She is overdue on her awakening. Cleansing has begun and God is not the culprit. If mankind followed the orders and kept the earth clean it wouldn't be happening. Say good bye to Texas too.

I pray for the families that are affected and I praise the Lord that my children and I are safe in America. But I also ask that His will be done in our lives and He prepares us for any disaster that comes our way.

Does that answer your question?

I had not heard that any deity claimed responsibility for the quake. Is this hearsay or are you talking about a volcano and earthquake god?

A benevolent god cannot be omnipotent and omniscient. Its followers may claim that it is; it might claim to be. It might even believe that it is. It cannot.

The Creator/Universe is neutral.

God is love - there is no evil in Him. He is the Potter - we are the clay. The Potter can do as He wills - not the clay. If you have a personal relationship with God and His Son Jesus Christ - you would know God and know His nature. He is a God of love - not hate. I pray you find Truth dear one. God is not a meanie out to get people - He loves people - but if people continue to do things their way - not His - they will pay a price - there is judgment. God will not be mocked.
