since I am from Scotland , I dont know much about this
but from the posts here I gather Fox news may be a little biased with their info at times ?

are they a Christian based news ... explain please ?

This is another question I get asked quite a lot about the Catholic Church. I've tried to answer it the best I can but I don't think I'm giving very good answers. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

In the 1920s an astronomer named Edwin Hubble observed the light from distant galaxies and he noticed something amazing. He saw that the light from these galaxy clusters was redshifted, which meant that they were all moving away from us. The galaxy clusters that were farther away from us were moving at a faster rate, the farther they were away.

I'm sure you have some hypothesis that covers this, what is it?

Where did they come from?
it doesnt make sense to me that Mosah got them from the mountain...
Many scholars believe that they were taken from the Egyptian religion, as the egyptian "book of the dead" has 10 holy laws very similar those in the old testiment.

Many think they are sensible political guides for a new society that the israelites were trying to build...

but its all a lil misty to me - any views??

Christopher Columbus used his Christianity to justify statements like this. He advocated the rape of 9 and 10 year old girls as a way to entice people to invest their time in his voyages. Who should be more ashamed of this, the Christians whose faith he bastardized, or the Americans (and I am one) who STILL revere him as a hero?

A preacher was telling his congregation that anything they could think of, old or new, was discussed somewhere in the Bible and that the entirety of the human experience could be found there.

After the service, he was approached by a woman who said, "Preacher, I don't believe the Bible mentions PMS."

The preacher replied that he was sure it must be in there somewhere and that he would look for it.

The following week after service, the preacher called the woman aside and showed her a passage which read,

I used to know one, but it was taken off the website it was on. And also, I still need the Alchemy ritual with the ember,it's supposed to let you manipulate your inner fire and fire around you or something, and no not the alchemical fire circle dance, either!

Is it true that the only reason that people of belief systems other than Christianity are allowed to worship freely in the US, is because when the God-fearing christians founded this great nation, they, out of the goodness of their hearts, allowed other religions to worship their differing Gods, or no Gods at all?

Nothing like patting yourself on the back, is it????

I've heard this used so many times to justify why christians "put up" with people of differing religious practices (or no religious practices at all)...and was just curious as to your thoughts on it.

basically those who dont attach themselves to any religion: is it just Christianity you think is foolish to believe in or is it all religions (Islam, Buddhism, Hindu, etc)?

In California some schools are making a seperate class room and providing prayer rugs for islamic students too pray. We are using our tax dollars to pay for this. When Christian students asked to do the same, we were told our religion dosent say we have to pray at a certain time so we can do it before or after school. Do you think this should be allowed?

I'm not a Christian by any means. However, I do respect that people follow Christian religions and live by the bible. It's wonderful that they can feel so strongly.

I'm just wondering,...not in any way to offend anyone, please don't take it that way... but how are you so confident in Christian beliefs? How do you know for sure that you will be saved and I won't be because I don't have the same beliefs as you do?

I think I'm a good, kindhearted person that probably does a lot of the good natured things that Christians do. How come I am not considered to be as 'good' as you, by your standards?

JESUS (peace be upon him) is in heaven he’ll come back to prove CHRISTIANS wrong. Read below from Holy Bible.

Who u think JESUS (peace be upon him) going to say above words? To Muslims, to Jews or to Hindus? Certainly no, but to u (CHRISTIANS) b/c u r the one who do above all e.g.: 1-{'Lord, Lord }U say that Jesus (pbuh) is ur LORD = The Christian god from Dictionary (WordWeb) 2- { cast out devils } Christians exorcism 3- { perform many miracles }Talking about how Jesus (pbuh) healing disease on TV programs etc.
