The bible does not mention masturbation, so true Christians (such as Jehovah's Witnesses) understand it primarily as a violation of a bible principle (rather than a bible command). The bible principle recommends one to "deaden" one's body members with respect to sexual appetite.

(Colossians 3:5) Deaden, therefore, your body members that are upon the earth as respects fornication, uncleanness, sexual appetite

True Christians (such as Jehovah's Witnesses) do not consider masturbation by itself to be a "serious sin" such as could result in disfellowshipping. A baptized person who masturbates while being coached via so-called "phone sex" or "chat room sex" likely commits "loose conduct", which is a serious sin.

(Ephesians 4:18-19) They are in darkness mentally, and alienated from the life that belongs to God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the insensibility of their hearts. Having come to be past all moral sense, they gave themselves over to loose conduct to work uncleanness of every sort with greediness.

Christian parents are best equipped to best determine when and how to teach their children about their bodies, and about God's view of sex and marriage.

(Ephesians 6:4) And you, fathers, do not be irritating your children, but go on bringing them up in the discipline and mental-regulating of Jehovah.

No. Masturbating is not something that a young one (both a brother or sister who is baptised) can be disfellowshipped for. If it's a brother who has privledges in the congregation and this remains a problem then, their privledges may be removed. But it is not counted as a serious sin that would merit disfellowshipping, at worst, maybe a public reproval which would depends on the individuals cirumstances.

And btw, we don't have priests that molest kids. If there are found to be any they are disfellowshiped promplty and reported to the authorities in accordance to the law, not unlike some other religons.

But to stay on point, there are many Awake! and Watchtower articles that deal with this matter. The Young People Ask Book has two chapters that give sound scriptural advice pertaining to this. You should talk to your son as soon as possible in an open and frank manner. This is something that we both brothers and sisters have to contend with even if they don't admit it. If he or you feel uncomfortable in talking about this then ask an elder or ministerial servant to talk with him. But try talkin with him first. I'm not sure if your a single mother but if you are married then you should have your husband talk to him. If your a single mother then talk to him as a friend. See how he feels and what he is thinking. And by all means read over the info in the Young people ask book and the scriptures!! Also, pray to Jehovah over the matter. UnfortunateIy, I don't have a Young people ask book with me but I'll post some more info later on.

It seems that your son is going through puberty (I assume), which in this world can be difficult to deal with, especially when having to deal with heightened sexual feelings, which is something that is natural. Errections can happen at anyime, anywhere, for any reason! We were after all created to have the ablility to procreate. If you notice that your son is masturbating then do some research and then most important: pray about it and then talk to him about it. I'll post more info later and if you need to, you can email me.

I grant unfastened online counseling to youthful depressed human beings and that i'm getting so ill of the ministers and others who condemn those youthful human beings for doing something it rather is well-known for toddlers. JW's condemn for this and be attentive to of a young person that became disfellowshiped and avoided by utilising his very own mom for doing tihis. His existence became ruined.

as Jehovah Witnesses we believe that sex is a privilege between man and wife. you shouldn't be doing it with yourself. Jehovah's Witnesses publish a book called Young People Ask: Answers that work. One of the chapters ask What is wrong With Masturbating? You should ask the local witnesses for the publication. And you should tell your children when you see that they have the urge to be sexually active, (which now in days is very early) not to masturbate.

I can understand why some view masturbation as wrong since it involves "impure" thoughts, but suppressing these natural thoughts can be very detrimental. Masturbation is healthy, emotionally and physically. Time to dispel old myths and embrace the act!

Your "seed" will be thrown away whether you masturbate or not. That's why your body produces more.

Masturbating is self abuse
It is also throwing your seed away that was not it's intended use.
When you see your child do it stop him in a loud voice....shock him so as not to let it become a habit.
He has to know that you disapprove and that it is repugnant to God.
Take his mind off of why he is erect. Talk to your children and raise them with the will of God in mind.

It is wrong because it is smelly (read your bible)
Tell your child not to masturbate before he gets off
Disfellowshipping? Well... It is smelly
If your child becomes erect make him wear 2 pair pants
