"It is my opinion that masturbation is not much of an issue with God. It is a normal part of adolescence which involves no one else. It does not cause disease. It does not produce babies, and Jesus did not mention it in the Bible. I'm not telling you to masturbate, and I hope you won't feel the need for it. But if you do, it is my opinion that you should not struggle with guilt over it. Why do I tell you this? Because I deal with so many Christian young people who are torn apart with guilt over masturbation; they want to stop and just can't. I would like to help you avoid that agony."

Wouldn't that make their god an unreliable liar, who changes his mind at will, and cannot be trusted from one day to the next?

On a Monday he says one thing...
Tuesday he says another...
Changes his mind the third time on Wednesday.
And by Friday, his followers have taken over the job of speaking for him altogether!

I just read a question on here that a person asked. They were atheist and wanted to know what Agnostic was...the answers were mostly wrong, even the person who got best answer.

they can not get any good beats like Metalica. It is like they try to hard to entertain us, and can not put there soul into the beats unto God.....and it sounds like crap. I have yet to find one, one song on petra, but the rest is garbage.

the bible says nothing about being "legally married" it just states being married in the eyes of the LORD. Can a couple go forth to the Lord themselves and consider themselves married in the eyes of the Lord, or do they have to legally do it? I know this is a weird question but me and fiance don't live together, and can't financially afford to do so as a traditional husband and wife, but we love each other very much, and are committed to one another.

ive heard christians here at R&S say that they have recieved "the truth" from god... well how do you know this is the truth? why do you believe in sumthin that isnt backed up by anythin? does this mean that only certain people know "the truth" and that everyone else is ignorant? im not tryin to offfend im just curious as to peoples opinions...

so can one of you please cut and past in the answer section from the US Constitution only or the Bill of Rights, the paragraph that contains the words, "Separation of Church and State" Now it needs to say those words, no what you might think it means, or what some lawyer says it means, I can read for myself, I may not be able to spell, but I can read quite well. So please cut and paste where in the Constitution it says that line. I've heard it a thousands times, but I cant find it. I had people tell me that the 1st part "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right" But only the most imaginative could find that meaning there, so can you help me, where is it at.

I always struggled with this, belief in God is one thing but arguing that one religion is better than another seems pointless to me and appears to be in the main the result of geography, if you're born in the Middle East you will likely be a Muslim

Some folks feel it is disrespectful when Mormons do vicarious baptisms for and in behalf of their ancestors. Neither the baptism nor the circumsion would bother me if done with love and concern for my dead ancestors.
