Belief that the divine is unknowable.
An atheistic agnostic would believe that even if a god did exist, we wouldn't know anything about it. A religious agnostic would believe that a god exists, but it totally incomprehensible.
Belief, in general, is not an absolute thing. Theists don't have absolute belief that a god exists, and atheists don't have absolute knowledge that gods don't exist. Everybody is somewhere in the middle, either leaning one way or the other. Also, nobody considers it to be exactly a 50/50 chance. Belief isn't that accurately measured.
So, the popular definition of agnostic as being "undecided" really is a useless one. The original definition that I stated above is more useful, but really says nothing about one's actual belief in a god. If you don't believe that something divine is knowable, fine. That says nothing about whether you lean towards theism or atheism.
So, saying you're agnostic says nothing about the judgements you make. Besides, everybody judges everything, whether or not you like to admit it.
You just sound like someone who doesn't like conflict, but probably leans towards atheism.

As an Agnostic, I believe that a supreme being could be out there, but I see no evidence towards either side to confirm nor deny its existence.
As far as who Jesus was and the message in the Bible, I believe that Jesus was a very wise man and inspired many people to follow his message of peace, but was in no way a "God on Earth". The Bible can be very inspirational and I do read it occasionally, but I don't take the stories literally.

Well first sof all there are different types and kind of agnostics, but in general an agnostic is someone who accepts the fact that they do not know if there is a God or not,,,, Some belive it is out of reach for us to ever find out, that our minds cant possibly know. ,, that it is impossible to prove or disprove his exsistance. Im my opinion, it is the truth ,the people who call themselves agnostics are people who either belief in Gid but doubt it,,, or dont belive in God but can't prove it. I find it hard to belive they they don't lean alittle more towards one view.
EDIT and in my opinion agnosticism is a fact!!!! we can not prove or disprove God!!!!,,, It does not seem liek a belief system to me,,,, just what is,,,,,,, I used to call myself an agnostic who believed in God, and i would get comments on it,, I do belive but i know there is no way to prove it and I could be wrong, everyone can be

NOUN:
One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God.
One who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism.
One who is doubtful or noncommittal about something.
ADJECTIVE:
Relating to or being an agnostic.
Doubtful or noncommittal: "Though I am agnostic on what terms to use, I have no doubt that human infants come with an enormous 'acquisitiveness' for discovering patterns" (William H. Calvin).
ETYMOLOGY:
a- 1 + Gnostic
OTHER FORMS:
ag·nosti·cal·ly (Adverb)
WORD HISTORY:
An agnostic does not deny the existence of God and heaven but holds that one cannot know for certain whether or not they exist. The term agnostic was fittingly coined by the 19th-century British scientist Thomas H. Huxley, who believed that only material phenomena were objects of exact knowledge. He made up the word from the prefix a-, meaning "without, not," as in amoral, and the noun Gnostic. Gnostic is related to the Greek word gnsis, "knowledge," which was used by early Christian writers to mean "higher, esoteric knowledge of spiritual things"; hence, Gnostic referred to those with such knowledge. In coining the term agnostic, Huxley was considering as "Gnostics" a group of his fellow intellectuals"ists," as he called themwho had eagerly embraced various doctrines or theories that explained the world to their satisfaction. Because he was a "man without a rag of a label to cover himself with," Huxley coined the term agnostic for himself, its first published use being in 1870

Agnosticism by my definition is not knowing something (here the existence of God) absolutely (without any doubt whatsoever).
By my definition I make agnosticism compatible w/ atheism, and I define myself as an Agnostic Atheist,
Who are you to dictate trivial semantics? Right and wrong, etc. in such cases?

Gnosis is knowledge of the divine, so the old gnostic christians believed that belief in god was not enough, you had to work towards direct knowledge and experience of god. An A-gnostic believes that this is not possible, either because god is outside of nature, and therefore unknowable, or because he's dead, or hiding, or whatever. Bottom line, the divine is unknowable. God could exist, but since there's no way of knowing, it has no bearing on our lives either way.

Agnosticism is the philosophical view that the truth value of certain claims—particularly metaphysical claims regarding theology, afterlife or the existence of God, gods, deities, or even ultimate reality—is unknown or, depending on the form of agnosticism, inherently unknowable due to the nature of subjective experience

Not known. No one can know if a god exists for sure, no one can know it doesn't. I'm curious to see your definition.
Huxley was not religious and was tired of being called an atheist. He didn't know if there was a god and really, he didn't care. He said "I don't know" He made up the word, he gets to define it.
I'm an atheist. Agnostic toward unknown gods, but and atheist toward yours.

An agnostic believes that it is absolutely impossible to prove whether or not god exists.
I guess you could say we're hedging our bets, but really, I don't know, and I don't think there is any way to know for sure.

I don't personally know.
I don't know but will lead my life in the assumption that no God exists.
I don't know but will lead my life assuming that God does exist.
I cannot give an opinion because there is no way that we can prove the existence or non-existence of God given currently available knowledge.
I cannot give an opinion because there is no way to know, with certainty, anything about God, now and in the future.
Yes, God exists. But we do not know anything about God at this time.
Yes, God exists. But we have no possibility of knowing anything about God, now or in the future.
